I've only discovered this site in the past month and man I have discovered some of the best deals out there. So good that I had to buy another humidor just to hold all the cigars I have purchased in the past month. I just can't seem to resist a good deal. If I can get it for half the price, I bid on that item. Anything higher than half off I do not bid. Not a great strategy since most things do not go above half the msrp. I need to show more restraint or I will be buying another humidor soon Hahahaha. Love this site.

This site used to be even more dangerous before map rules took away a ton of the good stuff.

I found even more dangerous sites recently, since CCs come in boxes, not fivers.

Cbid is a gateway drug.

Manufacturers Against Platinum (MAP)....
They didn't like the prices we (Platinum Plus Members) were extracting from cbid for high-end stuff....
So they nixed it.....but now we have a work-around.....

Yup.

They were offering platinum member pricing to everyone, and distributors and manufacturers made them drop it. So now they offer only to platinum members.

My credit card screamed for mercy shortly after I joined this site.

Yeeeaaah, I caught the fever for a couple weeks. After having to get another humidor, I've since slowed down.

Mine was on 9/24/14 and although I rarely check the bids these days, know that at some point there's gonna be something new that I wanna try and will try to get some from here instead of a local. But it'll be interesting to see how long I can go between orders.

For the heck of it I should add up all of my purchases (...and then quickly hit the Clear button after I see the gory total...).

I've added mine up before, it wasn't pretty and that was just for here. I was ordering from bunch of other places at the time as well.

I didn't know you had to pay for all the cigars you get. Strange, I get a box every week. Inside every one has been a hand written card telling me how great a person I am and thanking me for being me. Never seen an invoice though.

she-it, must have done some drunk bidding over the weekend. I just noticed an email saying my order has been shipped. A big order too. Looks like I may need to think about getting that coolerdor.

It's either now or later.

A year ago I said I'd never need one, but came awfully close recently. Rocket pass, stingers cooler and some noob bombings cleared out a lot of space, but I did bring a cooler inside briefly.

I still say I'll never need one, but my humidors are quite large, almost coolers themselves.

All great info from some great BOTLs.

I know this feeling

Looking at the items, making bids, tracking orders, running to mailbox like a fat boy chasing the Icecream truck, lighting a candle, opening my favorite beverage, taking in the beauty of the box before me, carefully removing her tape, googling over the goodies inside, smelling them, caressing them, reorganizing my humi, buying a couple more to save on shipping, making bids, tracking orders, running to mailbox like a fat boy chasing the Icecream truck, lighting a candle, opening my favorite beverage, taking in the beauty of the box before me, carefully removing her tape, googling over the goodies inside, smelling them, caressing them, reorganizing my humi, buying a couple more to save on shipping, making bids, tracking orders, running to mailbox like a fat boy chasing the Icecream truck, lighting a candle, opening my favorite beverage, taking in the beauty of the box before me, carefully removing her tape, googling over the goodies inside, smelling them, caressing them, reorganizing my humi, buying a couple more to save on shipping, making bids, tracking orders, running to mailbox like a fat boy chasing the Icecream truck, lighting a candle, opening my favorite beverage, taking in the beauty of the box before me, carefully removing her tape, googling over the goodies inside, smelling them, caressing them, reorganizing my humi, buying a couple more to save on shipping,

It's a vicious cycle.

you are delusional..............
soon as you start buying more boxes, and that will be soon enough....your "big" humis won't work any more.............you'll be left with deciding on a cabinet, or a cooler, or three.........

Haven't had to face that music yet.

Came close, so I just consolidated and got rid of most of my yard gars.

Spose now, I cant consolidate as easily and might need some overflow, but I'm done buying for a good while. Starting to explore what I already have rather than explore what I dont. I could easily smoke a completely different cigar every day for a year.

But then you find that one cigar that you want to know what 1 years rest will be like.... Turns into 5 years rest. Stock up now. They might stop making it.... You never knowThink
I have A tupperdor that I keep my boxes in. When I finish my Herf Shack I will be building a walk in. Can't buy anymore till then. But if that sweet deal shows up, it's hard to resist. Makes it easier when you don't have room for storage.
When you buy a knew storage unit. It'll typically be filled in less than a month.

No sh*t about this place being dangerous...when I started, I was happy with a 25 count humidor and had infused and regular smokes in it. A few weeks after I got here, bought a 50 count to keep them separate...then a tupperdor, then 4 more tupperdors....was looking at 150 qt cooler when I saw a big Montegue end table humidor at a great price and bought that...now all are full...woe is me...
