If I understand you correctly, you are saying you have 25 cigars that you don't plan to smoke.

Outstanding!!!

Here is an idea.....

Was thinking the same thing.

Between the rocket pass for the troops redux and the fill the cooler contest, I cleared out almost every last drunken overbid cigar I had in my humidors (about 80) keeping only a handful for mooch smokes.

I had heard that Brickhouse was a great smoke, so I got one and smoked it. I thought it was a terrible cigar and not even up to dog rocket status.

I had a similar experience......and then, as I noted above, I revisited about a year later.....pretty decent cigar.
Definitely one of the "most improved" after a long nap that I've ever seen..................but that's only because they suqed so bad initially.
I won't be buying anymore.

I have to fully agree.

I just threw out about 40 cigars and several Brickhouse Maduros were part of that. I can't bear to "donate" them because I figure I've already wasted money on the purchase, why am I going to waste more money sending crap cigars around the world?

Because there is a troop out there who hasn't seen his family in a long time, who would give anything to smoke a pineapple white owl. Ship them to me and I will reward you greatly for your effort.

It's not my place to tell you what you do with your smokes. But, before you toss any more, consider sending them to the troops. Whether they smoke them or not is irrelevant.

Wunky, most of us here think it is a privilege to do something nice for our troops. Also when they have no cigars any cigar would be appreciated.

Next time you clean house, let me know. I will send you enough to cover your time, gas, and shipping the cigars to opfth.

Even if they're swishers or white owls.

Edit: I once had a similar take on the subject. If I thought they were junk, just trashed em. But someone along the way told me no matter the quality of cigar, one of our troops will appreciate it as much as you'd appreciate a gifted Opus.

Meh, "troops" work less, make a better living and have better retirement options than I do. They should be sending me cigars. I met a drunk "troop" at a bar about a month ago. He was going on and on about how everybody in the place should be "thankful to him" that he "risks his life every day" to "keep them free." The guy worked at a desk somewhere, hadn't been overseas in years. Most egocentric prick I'd ever met.

Just conform already you chitty noob, we have a way of doing things here and we're all a bunch of old farts who have no desire to change it.

Bottom line, we have to have an outlet for our smokes we don't want anymore so we can make room in our humidors for new smokes... because we are all addicted to buying cigars, and sending to the troops is our preference because they are out there fighting for US...

You have a home team right? Who do you root for, you root for the home team!

That's right, the troops are fighting for us, we can't go buy their jerseys and hats, but we can send them smokes and munchies and coffee and stuff to our home team, so do it and quit crying about it.

Stuff we send ain't going to the pencil pushers in Arkansas, they're going overseas to war zones.

So quit being an azzhole already and send the troops smokes.

Alright, did my CBID community service for the day, carry on.

That's one hell of a thing to say arsehole. Troops work less than you??? Tell me, when was the last time you went to bed, lunch or take a chit and had to worry about getting killed? Not too often huh? Surviving and fighting in a war is a full time job bub. Show some respect or take a walk off a cliff.

You sound EXACTLY like the dude I met in the bar. The military must drill into your heads that you're all super important because you run a slightly greater chance of getting shot than the average person. (Though in my part of town that's debatable.)

Get over yourselves. If you choose to join the military because you can't be bothered to get a real job, then the risks you take are all on you.

Wow, the Xbox generation strikes again. Raised with no respect for anyone and feel they can say whatever they want online with zero reprocution. You don't want to respect the very people doing a job no one wants to do to keep your smart azz in the ghetto which you seem to have no desire to get out of but want to throw it around against the troops that don't have a choice more often then not. While you are right there are some members who have an inflated sense of what is owed them, how are you any different from this bs show you have going on here? Military on a whole have earned and are deserve respect for what they do everyday for this country, if for no other reason then I do see you having the balls to do the job so thank them for doing it so your punk azz can sit on a couch and freely live your life.

You guys have clearly bought into the lines fed to you by the military-industrial complex. I've known plenty of men and women in the military, active duty and retired. My dad was in the military for 6 years. He's a fine guy but there's absolutely nothing special about people in the military and there's certainly nothing that makes them worthy of getting free stuff.

Your best idea is maybe hood rats or wanna b gansters .com.This obviously is wrong place for you...I myself buy into nothing .....and ppl die for our freedom ..Non arguable fact You obviously don't have the brain capacity to get this..I also am semi anti government but again...I respect ppl who earn it...bottom line.....I suggest another forum....Yep

Hundreds of years worth of men and woman have died for you so you can have a breath in your body to bad mouth them. Your father must be proud. Go away. Make room for someone who does give a Faulk.
