Kinda like the cigars shipped via UPS?

Again, we don't have a way to change the shipping preference.

No need to change my preference...it is, and will remain USPS.

There most certainly is a way to change YOUR shipping choices...unless, you've signed a horrible, restrictive contract without exceptions or options until re-compete time.

There has been large amount of discussions on here over the years indicating that individuals have VERY different experiences with different shippers (largely depending upon where they live.) It seems like cbid has made a business decision that is going to alienate a LOT of customers by restricting choice, increasing shipping times and potentially increase lost/frustrated shipments. Most of us know after some years which carriers handle our destinations best. I wouldn't be surprised if the pennies you've saved by this decision aren't lost in reduced sales and replacing lost shipments.

CBID ought to be a business school case-study...or at least a lesson...CS clearly bears the brunt of one lousy business decision after another....I sure hope your pay is commensurate. I'm confident that this side of CI would have gone under years ago if not for compensatory CS....could be wrong, however...lots of us idjits willing to pay someone a dollar to bang our heads in order think we've saved a quarter.

I would buy cigars and other cigar related items on Cbid a lot more if there was at least a free shipping code every once in a while. Especially during X-mas time when every other cigar site in the world has a million promos and deals going on

If you are doing cbid right, you should be paying 60% MSRP or significantly less. Overbid much? I haven’t seen many holiday deals that are that 40%+. Consolidated shipping rates are reasonable as well.
