Update!

I put the 421 together this week. Lots of little things were wrong that the original builder did. It should be 650 to 700 hp .

Once I finish a harley custom that's at the house I will be able to get the chevelle done. Woo Hoo!

The car is ready to fire. Just have a little more wiring to do. I cant wait to hear this solid roller high compression engine fire up. Sucks that gas is $8.50 a gallon but its just a toy so no big deal. I will order fuel 50gal at a time and have it at the shop.

On another note I made a deal on a jet boat. I'm excited to bring it home and start cleaning it up. The only thing that sucks is that its a big block ford but for the price I can deal with it.

I just need time to work on my stuff. Seems like friends love to take advantage of my shop. Oh well such is life.

I just bought the wife a 16 Mustang convertible. Its being shipped from San Diego to Phoenix. Should have MACS just pick it up for me. Would have been much easier but the brakes and tires would have been junk by the time I got it. LMAO!

Other than that everything is going great at the Cooper household. I sold the house I bought in 2012 and upgraded to a nice single story in Litchfield Park. It has a 4 car garage. I really like that. Nurse Dawn has taken a position in the ER as a nurse manager. High stress but she's happy. Well with the job that is. lol Work bought me another new company truck. This one is a 2017 F150. I'm not a ford fan but this truck is loaded and I'm not going to complain about a new truck that don't cost me a penny. I'm sure it will tow the boat just fine. Hahaha

I definitely miss seeing the guys and girls from Cbid around the country. I have made some really good friendships here. Lost some friends too.... I haven't smoked a cigar since I moved back to Arizona in 2012. I'm good with that. Today I was thinking it would be nice to have one. Might have to find a B&M on the way home.

Progress is slow for sure.... I started the bodywork. I had never done any bodywork. I bought a nice spray gun off the tool truck and went to town. I like doing it. I have been block sanding the fiberglass hood in my spare time at work.

Well I have progress. The engine fired right up. Sounds mean as hell. Nothing better than a high compression solid roller motor.

Now mount the seats and install trans cable and shifter, Bleed the brakes and she might drive around the block if I do get 10 more gallons of race gas.

Mine is ugly. That's the funny part. Everyone thinks it's a POS but when they smell the race gas they should worry.
