First off I have 2 lbs of beads from roasterdude in the bigger wine adorable and 1lb of heartfelt in the smaller one. They hold right at 62 until the weather changes and then they both drop to 50. The last couple years I have battled this with small containers of water until it gets back to the desired 62. Would this keep from happening if I used more beads in each unit?

Yes. I also use floral beads fo mass humidity in the winter and let my HF beads regulate the added RH from them.

Is there a particular brand floral beads?

I use heartfelt beads in mine with a boveda pack in the drawers to regulate at the drawer level. I'm in the desert and it holds pretty good. I keep my hydrometers in the drawers. If you keep them outside the drawers, your readings will be significantly lower.
