i am sitting at work but have a strong feeling my wife will go into labor with my son today. we went to the hospital last night and she chose to go back home after not progressing. i wanted to buy something nice and save it until his 16th or 18th birthday. i didnt think of it for my daughter and regret that now. any suggestions?

i am toying with singles vs boxes vs 5'ers. thanks for the advice all!

Just one? Behike.

Alternatively, get a box of something nice like Monte 2's. Have one each year on his birthday until he's 18 or ?, after which share with him on his birthdays until they're gone.

Not really. A box of 10 Cohiba Behike 52 can be had for $288.00 US. If you order today, they should get to you by Friday of next week.

I thought you said you were looking for something super-special...you meant super-easy?

I found them at two places in almost 45 seconds of searching

point well taken

i guess i just dont have much experience with online sites other than the common ones and was/am a bit nervous about a significant purchase from an unknown vendor

Feel free to PM me with specific questions about vendors. If I have personal or close, second-hand knowledge, I'll be happy to share.

Looks like dstieger is filling that role admirably...his idea of buying a nice box of cigars and smoking one every year on his son's birthday and having a few left to share when his son is 18 deserves consideration.

that was my original thought. a couple of each of those to make a pretty sweet little time capsule.

The Behike is a great idea though.......if you don't feel you need to buy it right away, you can take your next vacation...I mean cultural, philanthropic experience......to the island south of Miami.

Behikes seem to be the winner for you to keep for your son...

If you need some "It's a Boy" labeled cigars to give out (and to keep people away from your good cigars), Fuente makes some affordable ones.

He's crying because you're afraid of ordering Behikes.

Congratulations on the birth of your son. Hope Mom and child are well.
If you are getting a box to save/savor, I suggest something with a little bite that will mellow with age. For non-CC you can't go wrong with Padrons, FFOX,or LFD double ligero.
For CC its tough to pass up the Cohiba line.
