How many of you who bid get stiffed?, ie; charged my max bid offer and allowing for later entries pay less just because they didn't list a max bid?

Ummm... What?

Did you put your max bid in the current bid field?

Maybe not me, but my money? Yes!
I'm disputing it with customer service but they've ended corresponding it seems.
They know they're wrong, but it may be more of a technical issued in how their bidding software works by default. Something they should look into.
In the mean time, they should own up and at least offer me a consolation in return. If they don't, I'll take my money elsewhere. Not much of a loss anyhow since I only really like 10% of what they usually have to offer.

I'm listed in 64th... http://www.cigarbid.com/...mbre-robusto-10-cigars/

I entered at opening day and bid the minimum with a max bid of $35.50
Other bidders who entered days after me got theirs for opening bi price. Not cool at all on the site's part. But glad the bitters won low.

You simply didn't get in early enough for $32.50, and many, many others bid as much as your max bid after you did.

I'm not seeing anyone that bid after you get it for cheaper. The numbers don't mean squat, because there is a person in the 70's that bid before you and got the 32.50.

Have you called them?

Not sure about recent experiences, but in the past they've always been a little slow to work with via email or clicking the CS Request web form. However, EVERY single time I've ever called them, I got positive results immediately.

You have it right here. I looked at it and don't see what you do not understand. They were on auto bid and seems you weren't. So when you put your bid in, it's before there bid and then they're auto bid kicks in. So technically they were at that price before you but it will list them after you. Bid was six days ago as was yours and use max bidding feature. Will definitely help you win.

70-74 used auto bidding =d>

DaMarie has been working on your request. Not sure why you felt the need to come out here. I am sure we can come to a mutually beneficial resolution for both of us.

Here since 2012 and first post in the forums is to flame customer service and bidding? Haven't learned how the system worked and won stuff in three years just to post now?

Popcorn

I'm with the FOGS here, a quick call to the ladies for clarification would go much further. I've heard they like cupcakes, one ton chips and pictures of fat pale guys in thongs if you want to get back in their good graces.

I think splatttt did the right thing.

He thought he was screwed out of his $3 so he posted on the site's forum that CBid stiffed him. Who wouldn't?

He did this even though CS was working with him, which is what any respectable person would do.

He's been here for 3 years even though he only likes 10% of the product. Any smart person knows that you should only buy from sites where you like a majority of what they sell. Because the bad stuff will contaminate the good stuff. Common sense.

And he's from Massachusetts.
Where we all know that internet cigars are crap anyhow.

Good form, dear sir.

I hope you find your 3 dollar bill.

My only issue is that if i bid, say, on 10 singles with 10 available at $3 with max of $4 and somebody then bids $4 on one stick, then ALL OF my bids go up - so now buying 10 at $4 istead of one at $4 and 9 at $3.

Live and learn mid..... Just wait until you win a bid, get it back ordered and never see it or get it (but still get charged to ship it).

Wasn't it the movie better off dead where the newspaper boy was riding his bike after john cusack the whole movie saying "3 dollars, give me my 3 dollars!!"

At least that movie was entertaining. Unlike the troll in this thread. Btw welcome to the forum s4b.

hmmm...I've never seen Paper Moon. It may well be in there, but even if it was lifted, I think that most people would associate it with Better Off Dead now....
