Count me as one of C-Bid's happy customers. Any small issues are always handled quickly and courteously. Most recently, DaMarie has been a rock star handling a couple things.

The customer service folks here will work with you as long as you contact them. They have earned my loyalty as a customer and have never failed to resolve things to my satisfaction.

Well, I have adjusted how I bid because of it. Even if I would like to bid on, say, on all 20 sticks offered, I only bid on 15 now so that one or two lone bidders don't knock up my whole order. Still can happen but makes it a little less likely.

As to the other, the only issue I have ever had was the post-office's fault and Cbid took care of me great shipping out a new batch when the first one got misdirected.

Dayum look who is being all sugar, and spice and everything nice instead of a rampaging, mailbox killing cross between She Hulk and Xena. I guess one Royal Physician keeps his head for awhile and found the right meds.

Think Wouldn't "stiff" in this context, be an adjective, while the verb would be "stiffen" ?

Just the calm before the storm…

I am wondering if jespear actually did leave Uncle Morty at home or brought him along to CigarFest in 2007?

Jules,
Uncle Morty is the Black sheep in the family.
We try to keep him from going out in public as much as possible, so yes, I left him home that day.
If you were at CFest 2007 and thought you saw him, you were mistaken.
Who you PROBABLY saw was busa, as he and Uncle Morty share a striking resemblance !

And while I have you on the line . . . WHO do I have to sleep with to get a MOOSE MANOR hat ? :-"
( I have an original "busa pin" that I would be willing to offer up in trade !)
Just sayin'.

Hmmmm, oh the possibilities…

Not sure about the "busa pin". If it is anything like the busa "tat tubo" he sent around that had been converted to fill another "need" so to speak, I will let you continue to be the caretaker. LOL

Yep. Amazes me that people just don't pick up the phone and speak with a LIVE BODY!

Got an idea: post pix of the hotties of CS on the website...should encourage more calls and fewer cs complaint posts.

I'm thinking if they made a *sticky* of the picture of them all wearing thongs this would be a none issue.

Of course they need to update it. I don't think Shana and Damarie are in the picture wearing their thongs. Ahh... it's good to be a p..... Oops, not going there.

I remember when i didnt fully understand the finer points of how the entire bid process worked. When I had a "personal bidding problem" I called them and they actually accommodated me even tho I was the one with the comprehension problem.
Cbid has gone out of their way to help me.
Over a few years I have won so many smokin deals and am amazed at the level of service considering the price points.

My only issue is that if i bid, say, on 10 singles with 10 available at $3 with max of $4 and somebody then bids $4 on one stick, then ALL OF my bids go up - so now buying 10 at $4 istead of one at $4 and 9 at $3.

Yeah I've been hit by that before. But how else could their system really do it? It would have to peel one cigar off your multiple-cigar bid and then compare that one to the competing bid. Then what if you won all 10? One user would be paying different prices on the same auction. I'm not sure their auction software is sophisticated enough to keep track of that. For each user I think it the number of items bid on and the price for all of them and that's about it.

The complaints department of CBid in a perfect world perhaps, if forum members handled them.
