Anyone know much about these? One vitola better than the others? Not worth bothering with?

Thanks

The old brown labels?

I like the robusto, lonsdales and churchills.

I just found this deal and I'd say it's worth it, I'm generally weary of old warehouse stock but the price is pretty good.

Snagged a few of the Monarcas, absolutely loved them and interested to see how these have been cared for, smoke me all now or add to my Camacho stash, win win either way!! Happy happy camper if still good, damn great cigars. Once my cash flow improves I'll see if they're still there.
Thanks for the info and PMs from rrumba and cobra

I think I may have gotten some of these already from my local. Just seems odd that two places find old Camachos. The thing that I don't get is I was told that these that I bought are supposedly 5 years old (2010) but the cello still looks clear. I have cigars from '13 that have some yellowing cello on them already.

Any reason for the cello still being clear that I don't know of?

Probably depends on how oily the wrapper is, Honduran corojo isn't particularly oily.

Smoking one of my 2005 Camacho Corojo Monarca right now. If those cigars have been well cared for everyone that jumps on this is in for a TREAT.

Agreed with Z, the oils in the tobacco play a big part. Give 10 to 15 years and any cello will have a yellow caste to it.

Dude, just resist the temptation to expand. Buy more and you WILL find a way to increase your storage capacity. Trust me, it's a law of nature.Herfing

Yeah this purchase has officially pushed me into a second wineador which I prefer better than the Volusia cuz I like being able to look in the glass and see my babies in there. My 9 year old always looks into them and opens then for the smell and looks Goddard to choosing which one I smoke because he looks forward to making the choice for me.

With cigar prices and tobacco taxes going nowhere but up, one should think outside of the box:

1. Buy now and save later, and you will have some well aged cigars at your disposal to boot.

2. Out of storage, no problem, buy another 120-qt cooler for your extra boxes, problem solve.

Wait, now you have extra space in your new cooler, go fill it up and don't waste that extra space. Besides, everyone knows a full cooler is easier to regulate temperature and humidity.

When you asked yourself whether you should buy that extra box of cigar, refer to 1 & 2 above. It's a no-brainer.

Well, they sound tasty, never had one.
However, I'm finishing up a box of Corojo Ltd maduro I got about 4 yrs ago, with a box waiting in the wings. These Ltds are smokiing very, very nicely now.

Bought on round 1. Wasn't impressed.... Hopefully they'll improve after I've forgotten about em for a while. They got their own ammo can and boveda on a shelf behind the gun safes where many things go to be forgotten.

Meh I liked the first mb3 I smoked but the rest have been just ok. Could've been that in between I smoked a Melanio Churchill and that cigar was stellar. It's my own personal yardstick that all others are measured against now.

My load of the Camachos just came today, finally got sround to opening a box. They're all the dark natural Corojo, it's like friggin cigar porn - YES!!
Anyone that's an old time Camacho fan these are the real deal, smoking one now, you will not be disappointed!
Whether this was tactical or a actual screw up I'd like to give the people responsible a big ole kiss.

SUCK IT DAVIDOFF!!!!!

MB3s are OK to good rot, or close to rott.
After they been resting.....like 12 months or so.........totally different cigar.
Now I never touch them until I know they're "ready".....and they are worth the wait.
The "new" deal is more than the original deal.....but still quite a good buy imo....compared to what they usually sell for here and other places.

I should have stocked up on some more Camachos...................but I bought lots of them (at amazing prices) a few years back thanks to a tip from..................yes.......DP Newell.

RIP DP..............
