Just ashed a Camacho corojo Churchill from 2010.

If I'd been smoking it blind I would've sworn at the start that the cigar needed some more time to rest. Not harsh but it definitely gave the weller '12 a run for its money on flavor and finish. Bold tobacco and black pepper right at the roof of my mouth back towards my throat, that black pepper mellowed after the first few minutes and it had a semi-sweet tobacco taste after that. Flavor didn't seem to change much. Nice finish and the retrohale was nice.

It was a pretty good cigar. I would smoke another but I've got a few others I'd still rather have a box of before this one. Maybe the '06s are just the ticket!!! "Hey honey could I........"

So z your holding a dickle in one hand and sucking it while your other hand has something else in it to suck while asking your wife for her permission for you to get an entire box of more things to suck. Now that is skill and explains your camping fetish........... hahah

Yeah I got lucky, do I don't even ask the spousal unit anymore, I work from home, the mail comes early and she is normally working or out with friends. So more cannabis, some mb3s and gotta decide on 1 box of cc to pick up.

Yeah....my GF is out of town working training a new hire. She called earlier from a shpo to ask how many Opus and PAMs I wanted her to get me. I'm making room for her purchases.

True love.

Wish I had the money to grab several boxes. The one I got looks and smells amazing. Has been opened, and there's adhesive where another sticker was removed, but the cigars look n smell fantastic. Just gotta get over this damn cold and maybe I'll be able to smoke a cigar again.

99cobra, not as much black pepper for me but it hadn't lost its edge for sure. The half way point it really got mellow and complex but I had to put it down it was late.

I jumped on a mazo of the Camacho Corojos awhile back, toros. I've been a solid fan of the old blend from the beginning so I was very psyched to get these. When I got them and commenced to smoke through them I began to smell a rat as the flavor profile wan't even close to my old favorites. So, I went back and re-read the ad...clearly stated "using old style bands" but said nothing about them actually being the old blend. More fool me. Brick wall
I'll be steering clear of those from now on, at least if they're from those guys.

Mazo was the first mistake, they were never released in mazos.

With a date stamp of 2006 if it was just an old band i would call that fraud. I will need to test myself.

No date markings anywhere on my box. Is it on a sticker or stamped into the wood?

mine both had a clear sticker on the bottom, and then inside was a card that stated the pick date, then the roll date which matched up with the outside date. both were sealed up but hey i am a noob so not sure how to tell a fake from real ones, but if the lid is sealed closed, wrapped in plastic and the card matches the outside dates, and it tastes dam good to where i nubbed it and it was still cool smoke, to me that is a great cigar i will continue to buy

if you like shoot me your email or phone number and i will send you pics of how mine are.

They're the real deal! There's a slight dusty taste along with some very nice blended flavors that are a little muted compared to fresher OR Corojos. Just what would be expected of aged cigars. These do not punch your sinuses on the retrohale.

Definitely a well aged powerhouse!

Doubt I'd like them fresh. But these are fantastic.

Now thinking maybe I should've bought two boxes... Could've/should've, but just bought a box of Joya Reds so between that and all the brewing I've been doing the last few weeks I"m pretty well tapped out for fun stuff for a while.

Probably the beer talking, but F it. How often does this opportunity present itself? That's what credit cards are for.....

Bought another box.

Mine were like rrumba's- date on bottom of box and card inside with matching harvest/roll dates.

The three I've smoked burned very well and had fantastic married flavors.

Might go back for another box before they're gone.

I picked up six but I'll be getting a few more. This isn't going to come around again, and with age they don't loose anything.
BTW I forgot to mention before any doubt as to authenticity, all boxes of Eiroa Camachos all have a card inside with the date they were made and by which roller. No sticker on my 2005's but they have the COA card inside. Happy smoking everybody!!

Agreed. I'm thinking the MB3s will be around for a bit, these "vintage" beauties are heading the way of the Dodo.

If I had more room I'd have grabbed a third, but two should be good for a while. At least it's not like that one time I liked a Genesis and bought three boxes. and now have two still sealed boxes a year and a half later.
