Good luck on the pic, you have to resize it and I forget the pixels it needs to be. It is a real pia and it won't tell you if your pic was rejected, it just won't ever show up.
I spoke with Damarie on this and I was told the system rejects the photo based on file size not pixel size. This is what she was told by the technical staff.
If it is to large I get the page that reads "There has been a serious error loading the forum. No further information is available. Please contact the administrator if this message persists. Try Again" or a message that tells me it is to large. I just tested this by trying to upload a 9 meg photo.
If it is within the system limits you get the message saying that it has to go through a mod for approval and you have to click OK. If you have got that message and you have clicked OK and it still does not show up then one of 4 things has happened.
One: the photo was rejected by the mod.
Two: they did not receive the email (this was the problem back a few months ago until I started haranguing Shauna and she was kind enough to pester the tech crew and she got the photo post back up and running. The system would accept the photos but it did not send the emails to the mods for approval)
Three: They just have not got to it yet and approved the post.
Four: They just do not like you because you have not sent them some cupcakes or Sherries Berries so they say **** your photo and throw it in the trash lmaoooooooo.
The few photos I have uploaded I have been testing and it seems the file size needs to be around 250kb. So I guess what I am getting at you can have a larger pixel size photo but if you have software that will compress the file to a lower quality to upload hence reducing the file size. Once I find the exact size I will post but I cant just bombard the forum with test photos if you know what I mean. I will pick a single photo and try to see if I can get the exact number by elimination.
