Still wading through “Seinfeld” and “Kim’s Convenience”.

Ted Lasso was a good watch, even if you are not a soccer fan.

Season 3 is taking its sweet time, dammit

Yeah, I thought it was stellar on all fronts. Cinematography, acting and the overall storyline that gets mixed in a few times in the original Yellowstone. I'm looking forward to the other spinoffs of Yellowstone with the same anxiousness I do the original. Captivating TV for sure.

NOPE...They explain why that ranch and the area around it is so important to the family and they held on to that. They have the "roots" I always wanted and couldn't get until much later in life. It's important for people to know you and who you are instead of being a transient interloper. I'm hoping Jimmy does great with his story in "6666". I was intrigued with the little they showed already of it. His love interest is hot too! Not that buckle bunny one...the other one. OOOOF.

I do love the way they tell the whole story in separate series rather than convoluting one series with all the timeline jumps.

I find the 6666 part of the story especially intriguing as the actual "6666 Ranch" sits right out my back door.............bout 11 miles to the eastern edge of the property and 30 to the headquarters in Guthrie.I grew up knowing Miss Anne personally until her death in the early 80's.........she was bigger than life and quite charitable in King and Knox Counties not to mention her support of other working ranches across Texas and Oklahoma.I just hope they do the ranch and the family justice..........the actual story of Captain Samuel Burnett is fascinating in and of itself.

Too cool. Well...well, see if you can get an extra role.

Kinda like in Atlanta with the Walker Stalkers. During filming they come up to people watching them and ask if they want to be an extra. My friend Mike's wife played a zombie in Season 6. Got paid 100 bucks and is noticable in the episode she was in. I told her that she was a natural beauty for it. Yeah...got slapped in the back of the head for it too!

Vizio has free content with their TV's. In the Master bedroom we have one and found our favorite show of all-time on it. An entire channel devoted to running "Midsommer Murders". Its a British murder mystery set in the beautiful countryside and they feature it prominently. The episodes run almost like a movie. Slow to develop, really strong characters and plots that try to keep current with their times. We put that on at night and let it run. It's pleasant background noise.

Why is SO much Brittish TV so much better than most American TV?

My take is that they allow new ideas and if it works...they have a hit.

America is wrapped up in CGI, remakes and failed formulated crap (reality tv) to ever take the chances they do. When it happens like with the streaming services people lap it up.

Midsummer Murders is in Season 23 so its safe to say...they worked it out

It's a great series, having watched the entire series, wow, did they ever get woke towards the end, like the black pub owner whose family had owned the pub forever? LOL

Doc Martin is another good series.

Stick with it. Like many shows / movies, they crawl, then walk before the sprint at the end.

For some reason we keep missing the later seasons of the show? That's disappointing. I can remember almost choking up when Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby was passing the torch. It was like losing a good friend or a close neighbor.

Did you mean Doc Martin? If so, yes...we really liked that one too. It's alike to MM. Father Brown is another good one too!

We watched an older movie that I remembered seeing in the theater...the comedy was spectacular.

We watched a few on PBS, a couple of Box sets, and finished the series on Prime, paying a little more to see them. It's one show I do not mind watching a second time. The Barnaby change was upsetting as were the changes in his assistant.

Yes, Doc Martin, corrected. I'll take a look at Father Brown, thanks!

I’m on ep 9 of Andor. Although it may not be the best content out of the star wars franchise, I do think it has a more intriguing plot than the rest of the series.
