So, I accidentally bid on and 'won' a couple of boxes recently. Beer

Tatuaje Nicaragua 7th Capa Especial - Box of 25

Tatuaje Nicaragua Cojonu 2012 Capa Especial - Box of 25

Nowhere in the descriptions does it mention Sumatra wrapper. I've since looked at some descriptions over at CI and it indeed does say Sumatra, unless it's the Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro.

And, it seems I've 'won' these before, but never saw 'Sumatra' on the box. And it seems like I've got the maduro and the not-maduro too - with no Sumatra on the box. Of course, I'm getting old and my thinkin' is a bit wonky maybe... fog

Also, interestingly, after the fact, they both say 'sumatra' in parenthesis on the order detail in my account now, but only one box says Sumatra on it.

Anyway, so, just curious about the Tat crowd's thoughts on the Sumatra vs. the PBM for these Tats.

There were three wrappers in the 2012:

IIRC the Capa Especial is Ecuadorian Sumatra, the Reserva is Conn broadleaf and the Habano is Ecuadorian Habano. The 7th is a different blend altogether and not part of the 2012 Cojonu.

I don't believe I've had the Cojonu Sumatra, but I do have some of the 7th Capa Especial. I really enjoy the Capa.
