Nice Gummy.....................I'm at capacity...........but still makes me want to grab one.
Has to be one of the best running deals around imho.

I know........I'll just go smoke one instead........right now........with coffee.

buy 2. i think thats what i did last time.

you could always split them. or just lay em all down. they age well.

on a side note, KotC, have u smoked any of the recent ones u picked up? Your genesis theory has me concerned that these may not be the same mb3s from a few years back. the continued offering of these at this price has me wary.

The ones I'm smoking now are from May and June of 2015 (my purchase date), and they're smoking great.
I smoked one from August 2015, it was great as well.
I smoked up all my rather hefty stash from 2013..........d'oh! .........prolly should have saved some.

I always let them sit at least 6 months, the the ones I bought last month, I won't be smoking until the end of the year, at the very earliest......prolly not until next year.

I'll smoke a Robusto I bought 4/6/16 today, just to make sure it's not a turd, and report back.
But I'll still reserve final judgement until they've had a good nap.

Thanks for all the PM's guys.....I'm always on the lookout for MB3's. They've been my favorite since sd72 gave me my first while at a DE event here in the mitten.

Just finished the Rob that had 40 days or so of rest.
Tight canon, slightly tight of perfect draw.
Perfect burn, lots of smoke, draw remained a bit snug, but that's fine, these need to be smoked slow.

Coffee and bitter chocolate, with the floral notes popping in and out during the middle of the smoke.
Started a bit "rough" for the first 1/2 inch or so, but then quickly settled down. (Some might call it a pepper blast........I just call it rough.)

These will be "ready" in another 6 months or so, and I expect the baker's spice component to makes its appearance then.
Didn't get much of any of that baker's spice in this one.................still a great $3 cigar in my book, even now.

Might have to make room somehow for another 20......cause I'm not getting more storage.....not going down that road.....been holding the line for 3+ years.

Way to take one for the team KoC! Glad to hear they pass inspection. Like you, I usually let them rest for at least 6months but most of the MB3's I have now are well over a year old. Guess I'll have to sacrifice one now that I have more on the way!

Damn you. Thanks for the review of the newer stock. You got me really thinking about my cigar priorities.

I wonder how long that place is going to be able to do those specials. I wonder if Oliva will ever come out with an MB4.

You don't want these old things - they're something like 13 years old.

I smoked one of my new batches ROTT... I tend to like em young though, so I liked it.

Smoked another about after a month or so, it was still good :D

I still got a handfull that I got a couple years ago, they're still good, I'll admit, the older ones are better, they still have strength left, and that's important to me.

I just can't let them get over the hill, otherwise I won't be a fan.

So I guess the moral of my story is, I kind of prefer them young and rough.

Just don't tell my wife, lol.
