Arriving early Friday afternoon at the Omni, and partaking in a drinking tour of the nearby breweries.

Kitchen pass obtained. I will be there. Not sure of my arrangements yet. I will be getting in around 5-6pm Friday. I am planning on riding the motorcycle. It will be the first long ride for me, if I do it.

Man, all of you old guys...
We will be getting there hopefully early Friday and start brewery hoping with Cac and his lovely bride asap. If you are too old to hang, let's smoke cigars Friday night somewhere. If you are even too old for that, I will see you at the fest.
David, let me know if you decide to ride and I might ride the hog down. I know old Weapon X has a motorcycle or two, he may ride as well.
TJ, suck it! Are we herfing in Gunny still or what?

Fellas, I am a total slack a$$. I couldn't confirm that I was going until a few days ago. Now hotels are being a pain in the butt.

So, this might be real late in the game but does anybody that has a room (and not occupied with them and their spouse) that they would be willing to split. Only if it has has two beds....I don't spoon with the fellas.

I don't snore (unless I am obliterated drunk) but I will probably smell like cigars.

I don't want to put anyone out but it might leave more room for you to buy cigars if we split the room.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Thanks
David aka the cheapa$$.

Friggin' youngster has no respect but iffn' you know of a place with good stouts on tap and allows cigars I'm in for a few.

Last time I brought a selection of beers on ice and we just sat out in the Omni lot Friday night but Youngra made disparaging remarks about my selections (apparently because no Coors Lite)

Looking like a rainy weekend here in OKC and possibly up in Colorado. Guess I will be bringing the car. I really wanted to ride the bike but don't feel like driving in the pouring rain.

Sadly, no. Sad

A third box was supposed to have been sent too but circumstances (...and poor planning...) short-circuited that one. Guaranteed next year things will be different.

Sarcasm
Must be having a "senior" moment Rick - if I was dissin your stouts it wasn't personal, I just prefer Coors Original (Coors Light is for bathing (water))Beer

Friday night there is an Ashton event at the Havana Manor if the weather does not cooperate (and there is a liquor store right next door!) - I'd bet they have a stout selection. It's fairly close to the Omni too.

Iffin' all goes as planned, I'll be retired by this time next year and the RMCF is on my Bucket List. If not next year then definitely 2018. Won't need to mail, I'll just bring an extra suitcase with the stuff. Herfing

The home renovations (...and subsequent "homelessness" after our Vegas trip...) really threw me off this year. For sure I'm make it up to youse guys next August.

Well said.

The other pkg landed in Denver today, but then has to be transported West to Grand Junction on the other side of the State, then back East towards us. Think it has to do with flying across the ocean. Mail within the continent goes directly to Junction.

See everyone on Friday.

Bring your credit card, you're going to have to pay for your "samples" due to the new FDA regs

I'd most likely just get a Social ticket. Got plenny smokes and from what I saw on the RMCF website, I'd have to get the VIP or better ticket to get stuff I'd wanna try. Besides, I'll have blown my budget on Mac nuts and OTCs! Gonz

I am going to sit outside by the bar, smoke a cigar and have a drink.

If you don't know what I look like, I will have a white short sleeved shirt and grey pants.

Hope to see you there.

Anyone making the journey to the Drew Estates Herf?
