How are the Partagas shorts, Por Larranaga - Petit Coronas, H.Upmann - Majestic and H.Upmann - Half Corona?

Also open to other suggestions as well.

Cove - I have not forgotten about you. I should have yours out the door Monday. Still issues with the sd4 though. Waiting for that to clear up.

The Bolivar Royal Coronas are real good too, IMHO.

Since someone mentioned Boli PC those would be my first choice but after that it would go HUHC, PLPC, then the Party Shorts which I am not really a fan of and the Majestic I have had. Th HUHC and PLPC though are pretty good.

Boli PCs and San Cristobal PCs have been great for me. I did not like the Super Partagas but then again I've only smoked one so far.

Boli and HUHC very good fresh. PLPC requires patience 4-5 yrs min for them to hit their stride.

Been enjoying RyJ Mille Fleur a great deal.....and don't forget about RG Perla's and PC's (Poor man's Monte)
SC Primcipe is also a tasty tried and true quickie as is the RASCC.

That about covers it.

From OP list, I prefer HUHC. None suck, however. I suggest finding 3 other cc noobs and splitting a box of each four ways and find out for yourself where your palate lies.

I assume you're looking for cheap moreso than time?

My list of sub $130 boxes regardless of vitola would would look something like this

1. HUHC
2. RASSC
3. PL Montecarlos
4. Boli PC
5. Party Short
6. SCdLH El Principe
7. Cuaba Divinos
8. RyJ Coronitas en Cedro

Not for me:
Monte 5
Party Mille Fleur
JL PC
Fonseca any
LFdC PC
Vegueros any
RG any

Seems I'm forgetting something else I've tried, but it must not have been memorable.

All but HUHC, PL Montecarlos, Divinos and RyJ Coronitas require down time, IMO. Those 4 are not bad fresh.

Ok well sounds like we have at least 2 other cc noobs, maybe 1 more and we can do another split.


Let me get home in about a week or so and lets put something together. I still owe someone and I got to get his out first.

For some reason I have not gotten my psd4 in although it's been resent 3 times so maybe he would be interested in jumping in on this.

All right sounds like we have our 4 for a split then. I will get in touch with you guys to determine which ones or lets just go for broke with the suggestions and see what happens
