Hi everyone, my palate might go wrong these days,Sick since all cigars I smoked have no taste, or just like paper, or kitchen sink. I am big fan of My Father cigars, my list:

Cabaiguan Guapos,
L'Atelier LAT54,
El Centurion Toro Grande,
Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial,
My Father La Antiguedad Corona Grande,
My Father Cedro Deluxe Eminentes,

For those cigars I cannot pick any notes like ceder, coffee, spice or strength. What's the flavor you get? Either my palate is wrong, all these sticks are overly aged...

Likely humidor is too dry or too wet.

Cigars don't really lose flavor with age. They become different and mellow but some flavor still exists and develops.

Like a fine wine cigars have a peak. The time when they should be smoked to get the absolute best flavor profile that they have to offer but they do not go bad after the peak, they can become less intense or more mild than they were probably intended to be.

If you keep your smokes well maintained in a temperature and humidity controlled environment they should be fine. Some of the releases you listed are not old enough to have past their prime though. I would bet your humi needs some work.

Maybe trade some of your flavorless cigars with the new guy offering to trade infused sticks in the trade forum......

If you can't taste those....well.........stop smoking.

Could try not smoking for a week or 3 then trying those again.

Or just send em all to me, and I'll report back with my thoughts

I smoked 3 cigars per day, no cigarettes. My palate is not qualified as to be a reviewer, but sure I know spice and bitterness. I might try to take several days break.

They are best right out of the box at times. It happens to the best of them.

As a My Father fan and Tats also, I have smoked 5 of the 6 you listed. Some were right off the truck and others were 6 months to 1 year in my humi. The ones you listed should all have a somewhat spicy peppery, full flavor profile in my opinion, I have not had a My Father or Tat that I would describe as bland or tasteless. Anyway, maybe you need a few days break and revisit. Just my .02

Do you put them in a humidor or unwrap them and let'em age outside the box?

You may be suffering from cigarloss palletosis. Unfortunately the only cure is to say Latin Plum three times in a row to get your special powers.

I'm talkin' about the street gang....don't know what you are talkin' about.............though there is another Hispanic gang called the Bear Street Crazies. The Fruit Town Piru outa Compton have a subgroup, the Plum Street Gang that formed an unholy alliance with the remnants of the Latin Kings.
