So I couldn't find a spot for newbie introductions, so figured this would be as good a spot as any. I am a long time cigar smoker and collector. New to the forum scene. Here is my question...
I have always had a liking for La Aurora sticks. I loved the 1492 line and of course the preferidos were great. I am really looking forward to the new Black Lion line being released. Has anyone tried them? Know when they will be released? Heard anything about them? Will they have them on Cbid?

Thanks in advance. I look forward to getting to know each of you and learning something new.

I have always been an outdoor person. I camp when I can but it usually involves the cub scouts. I have two young boys, seven and ten. The only time I really get away is hunting season. That is usually accompanied with a box of smokes and some Jim Beam Black by a nice fire..

Depends on where I am. Cracker Barrel, definitely pancakes. IHOP, gotta be pancakes with that excellent butter pecan syrup. But if I am at home, gotta be waffles.

So, I get anal ized? Did no one notice that there is actually a question in that first post. I actually did attempt to contribute something to the forum! It can't be a duplicate question, I searched for the topic first. I guess I could have just stuck with a classic like how do I set up a coolerador. Or are beads really that much better than kitty litter.

I have seen the preferidos on cbid.....don't know about any others. Not heard a lot of discussion on La Aurora here. You might find some good bidding.

Welcome to forum and beware the Thonginator.

I forgot about the fact that we could essentially be bidding against one another for the same sticks. Forget what I said about La Aurora and the Preferidos in particular. I actually use them as a chew toy to keep my dog entertained while I mow the lawn. He likes to eat fresh cat poop also. Nothing to see here.

P.S. I have a premium fiver for the first person that can get me ZX1200s address. Something about him being the first to take an interest in my personal life made me all warm inside.

Thank you for that link, tigger. That looks like fun!

I have googled the information. However, what I was looking for is specific information from members of THIS board that may have heard something, tried one, or have insight as to whether or not I would be able to procure said cigars here. I assumed from the name of the forum, "Cigar Discussion" that this would be the correct place to ask these questions. If it is not, please feel free to redirect me to the appropriate forum on Cbid in which to ask the experienced members. Thanks again!

The first (and second and third and fourth) link when you google that cigar all say "XX Exclusive" right there on the summary page. Now, I don't work in retail, but I suspect that 'exclusive' means that it won't be available from cbid...at least not right now. Maybe after they change the blend, shorten the filler and reband them, you'll find all you want here.

Your question is in the right place....its just the wrong question :)

I appreciate that info. When looking at the Google results, I showed only two varieties being listed as exclusives, the maduro and the cameroon. I was hopeful that the others would NOT be exclusives, because if they are exclusive to that **** hole of a site, I will not be trying any. :(

That would explain why they went with such a cheap looking band though.

welcome aboard bud

they are a mostly harmless bunch and if you can wade through the bs (waffles, camping, etc) then they can actually be helpful at times as well

This place is funny...

So I asked for an address to send some harmless sticks. I ended up with three different people sending me three different addresses for supposedly the same guy! I don't know if they are sending me fakes to protect the target, or if they are trying to send me alternate targets that deserve the damage...... Either way, I guess the only way to ensure the true target gets his is to just send three boxes and worry later about collateral damage... :)

Being a noob myself, I was under the impression that we were to answer all honest questions from noops with slander and ridicule.
