Have you ever experienced a "plugged" cigar ?

That's one where you try to take a nice draw an it feels like your eyes are going to pop out...but yet ... nothing.. nothing at all...

Well then ... you have a "plugged" cigar...

There are a few things you can do to remedy this problem...but I've found the following works the quickest...

Take a pin or small nail an poke 15-20 holes all over your cigar...then give her a nice draw... betcha not plugged no more...

Just another Helpful Hint fer the Newbie ...

Your Welcome

Tank...

P.S. if you want to head off any future plugging problems...I would suggest you do this to each of your cigars as you put them into your humidor...

Could those who prefer a natural method put tobacco bugs in their humidor?

I find that cuts with an exacto blade work better, just make a bunch of small x's all over your cigar. Sometimes a nail hole is just not enough.

Another great tip I have tried before. Only thing is I didn't get as much smoke but it worked like a dream.

Thx again

I've been nailing mine to the inside of my humidor with a small tack nail. I was told this increase the humidity flow around the cigar, and get more of the cedar taste. Didn't realize it helped with the flow. Thanks for the advice.
