Cigar, Ligher, or? Have you ever had a big disappoint. Me personally I have been pretty much satisfied with all the Cigars I have had the opportunity to smoke. I have some stuff aging in my humiador I am anxious to try but they are brand that I have like everything else I purchase from that brand.

Rocky Patel Cargo Toro Grande - paid $2.00 for a $0.50 cigar. Total piece of carp. Wrapped split, tasted nasty. Last RP I ever bought (...and quote the Raven, "Nevermore"...).

Gurkha sampler
Calle Ocho

Bought before I knew any better, all cigars tasted the same to me and they were cheap. Think I might have even shared some of that junk... but as I learned, and started smoking better cigars, they never got touched again.

They found their way overseas.

Other than that, I went through a few other samplers with some bad/some good/some so-so. But the Gurkha sampler and the box of calle ocho are the only things I can recall off hand as orders I regretted.

A package of Puros Indios Vintage wrapped in burlap. I think they were put away wet. The burlap had permeated the cigars. They smoked like a moldy wet turd. Beyond awful.

Diesel Wicked

Forget what I paid for them but they weren't he cheapest diesel at the time. I like most A.J. cigars and if not rott then once they sit for awhile I do. These were complete airballs not a single note to be picked up and the claim was they were full and powerfull cigars. Other then that when I first started smoking cigars I found this place and pretty much listened to the recommendations about cheap cigars, Gurkha, and VS so not too much to complain about here.

A ten pack of Gurkhaaaa Centurians....... They were not good.
And, a Gurkha Titan that literally blew up in my face.........not exaggerating one bit.......sounded like a lady finger fire cracker and scared the chit out of me and blew a 1/2 inch rip in the wrapper. That ended my relationship with Hansotia.

Not really a disappointment, but 15 pairs of Gurkha coffee mugs. Wanted to win one pair, ended up being the only bidder.

I still have four left after gifting, breaking, selling some at garage sales, taking them to the VFW post.....

One el cheapo sampler inhaled forcibly, but had a Fighting (0(k in it. The other four smoked worse than White Owls.....

A box of La Perla Habano Maduros. Ugliest damn things I've ever seen. They burn like crap. When you can keep them lit for a few minutes the flavor has promise, but.....sunzabitches won't burn. Anyone want to trade?

Some type of "Dominican Sampler". You get what you pay for.
The purple one from some company dinner looked cool though. Purple?

Well, to be fair, in Spanish that means "smokes."

You want crappy? Buy some smokes...

Fumas are generally made from left-over scrap tobacco after they go snippy-snippy-rolly-rolly, I understand...

I overpaid on some Dunhill singles once when I first started, it wasn't terrible, still cheaper than MSRP but I thought they were 5-ers.

The only 5vegas I've ever heard associated with AJ is the triple A? Which is a decent cigar for $2.

I thought cigars international contracted out with others to roll their other 5vegas blend hence why their country of origin changes? If it was all AJs fault the country of origin would always be Nicaragua.

Worst for me gran habano Azteca fuerte. Worse than any gurkha I've ever had. Smelled like burning trash/ burning plastic in my garage for days afterwards.

Another vote for the Gurkha Beauty. Bought a 10 pack. Smoked 3 of them and all 3 started unwrapping about a 3rd of the way through. When I say unwrapping I mean unwrapping. Only compliant and the only product I've ever returned on Cigar Bid.

I hate to admit that I even bought them..... when I first started smoking cigars last Summer I bought a 5-pack of Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey cigars.
As soon as I lit the first one I knew that I had made a serious error.

I couldn't even get through the first one. The other four eventually went in the trash.

The Humi-Care Power Sticks. Thought they'd be great for my smaller humidor, but those things are crap and require a charge way to often.

This took some careful thought.

I've been pleased with all of the non-cigar purchases like hygrometers and such. The only other items I bought from here are cigars. Though I've had my share of forgettable cigars, I don't think I bought them here. Why should I?

There are plenty of suckers who post here about buying some new cigar that ends up tasting like fecal matter from a cancerous rat who eats nothing but rotten meat from inbred cattle. I just wait for a review so I know what not to buy.

Yeah, keep trashing these. Might need to pick up a few more 5ers for $1 or $3!

Herfing

They're one of my favorite yard gars-mild with little to no subtlety, burns without effort, perfect for mindless smoking and since all the sizes are varieties of churchill gets through pooper scooping, edging and mowing my slightly bigger than normal Cali yard. Which means I actually gotta mow it!

But yeah, I wouldn't pass the regulars off as much more than that. Haven't tried the maduros yet-maybe a little bit of complexity, but not expecting much.

Pretty much everything me bought as a noob back in 2014.

- Dominican sampler (not one but two)
- 10 pack of 5 Vegas Gold Bouillon
- 10 pack of Gurkha Beauty (wouldn't light at all. Would not light!)
- 10 pack of Gurkha Beast
- 10 (or was it 25?) pack of some small sticks that were wrapped in a paper map (popular in Europe! or something)
- 5er of Obsidian black
- 5er of Obsidian white noise (let one rest for two years and it was still horrible)
- Bunch of Man o' War singles (not to me's liking)
- Fumas of any kind

etc....etc...etc

Gotta admit that me don't understand this concept. Why smoke a cigar if you're dong other things? You get smoke in your eyes, run the risk of poking yourself or something with the lighted tip, get ash everywhere, and can't really enjoy it.

Me always smokes me's cigars while sitting down and usually reading or just looking out at the world. Can't fathom smoking a stogie in such a way that me couldn't enjoy the experience. If me's gonna increase me's cancer risk, you better believe me's gonna have a good time doing it. Ya feel I?

These lighters:

3 of the 5 never worked at all and the other two quit after the first week and I did everything you could possibly do to get them working.
