Just getting your guys' opinions on cigar brand trends:
1. Which cigar brands have been recently nerfed (made much worse)? Some brands that spring to mind are Rocky Patel, Gurkha (some lines - but all USED to be good), and Graycliff...
2. Which cigar brands are the fantasy sleepers of the cigar world (underpriced for how good they are)?

So nerfing is when a guy mounts another guy and pinches his nipples instead giving him a reach around???

Maybe I'm not reading it correctly.........but did you say ALL gurkhaaaas used to be good?
d'oh!
Ok.........I'll leave that alone for now.

After 12 years, you want us to divulge our sleepers?
You haven't been able to find any under the radar cigars that are s good bang for the buck in all that time?
d'oh!
Ok, I'll give you one, that can be had for under $3 if you know where and when.........but not a sleeper per se........just that it can be had for under $3, delivered, every now and again.
MB3...........let them sit for at least 6 months..........fine smoke. The ones I'm smoking now have over a year on them........fantastic.
Way too many cigars to list that were great in the OR, only to become mediocre.

I won 1 on a recent order as an add on, I was curious as I've not got to all the L'Atelier offerings. It was very decent.

Your standard answer here is the Illusione Roth IIRC....

Honestly I haven't liked anything Lat has offered yet. Under $3 cigar is limiting your range too much, now up it to $4 and there is a ton in that area.

Really? I love the mad44. We seem to have similar tastes.

Not sure I have had a 44 maduro but do remember smoking a larger one and not being impressed with it, same with the la mission. We do have similar taste but for some reason I just don't enjoy the Lat lines as much as others.

I haven't had a $3 smoke in at least six years but I've smoke a lot of six dollar smokes that should have been $3.

Recently? IMO, Graycliff has sucked unbelievable amounts of ass since at least 2009 and possibly earlier, with their enormously-high prices as the cherry on top of the excrement cake!

In fact, their bang-for-buck was so incredibly low that a major online seller, whose name I won't mention here, removed all Graycliffs from their site, and their Graycliff "brands" page was turned into a blank page except for text saying something like, "Due to very low quality and very high prices, we no longer carry Graycliff cigars." Shortly after that, they removed the Graycliff brand page entirely.

They disassemble themselves as you smoke, taste like nothing, and cost $10-20 each. At least, that's been my experience, repeatedly.

Elitist........................or....................over-bidder

Think

Since you've smoked a lot of $6 cigars that should have been $3, I'm guessing over- bidder.
Thanks for keeping the lights on here.
