Gents,

I know at least one of you has helped me in the past, some of you live in areas with Weller 12 on the shelves whereas I live in an area where it is impossible to find.

If anyone is willing to proxy buy (cost and ship) I will reimburse plus I will send a nice 5er fee your way.

Thanks fellas,

Rob

It was plentiful at one time here but as I understand it's nowhere to be found.

Grabbed some Antique recently, but no sign of the 12...

That seems to be the general consensus but I have seen a few times individuals find a few and buy them out just to flip, can't stand that.

I contacted Buffalo Trace this week concerning this years Weller 12 release. I did not get a lot of info but did determine that at this time not all states have received their allotted shipments and my home state of AL is in that group.

On Mon of this week, my son's local in the panhandle of FL received some of the Weller 12 that morning and by the time he went by that afternoon it was gone. They hope to have more in the next week or so.

Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the insight. I have honestly never seen a Weller 12 in the wild. Special Reserve and Antique 107 all day though.

Sadly it seems that the 12 has go eat the way of the pappy. Usually around here they are sought after in the same sentence. I had a shop get them in and sell them all in under 2 hours for $100 a bottle. Ridiculous. I hope this craze ends soon so I can go back to being able to find these again for a reasonable rates.

Yesss! You shipped me some last year in that sweet wood rack you built. Worked great! Would love to work this out again. I've got a few sticks I know you'd enjoy.

I will take as much as you are willing to ship.

Mouthfeel is great, the recent bottlings aren't quite as good as bottles released back in 2011 and earlier but still good.

Msrp is around $30-35 for a 750

I agree with Burner. Do not pass it up, plus if you don't like it you can always trade it away. Plenty of people willing!

I checked 3 places today including where I got it last time with no luck. I asked a girl I know who works at another store and she said she saw some come in but it never went out to the shelves. She is going to ask the manager for me next time she works.

My oldest son in FL could not get by his local this morning so he asked his wife to go by. She got there at 0930 and was advised that they had received one bottle for this week and a guy came in as they opened the doors at 0900. End of story.

I have not seen weller 12 in the wild in about 2 years now and I travel a lot and stop at every liquor store I can! The two big chains in my parts of Indiana distribute it via lottery or keep it in back for good customers. The mom and pops laughed at me when I inquired about OWA.

I prefer OWA to the 12 yr.

I got an old forester birthday bourbon and a booker's rye lately but no OWA or Weller12 to be found anywhere..........................

My friend in Ky got parkers heritage last week. The allocation for Indiana's biggest liquor chain is supposed to be less than 10 bottles. Maybe they don't have a strong relationship with heavenhill I don't know but they get way more pappy 20 than 10 bottles ....
