Trying to make an unpopular governor look bad.

It wasn't his decision to make and they tried to paint him with it.

Look, if you haven't already registered...then it's not going to matter much at this point. Face it, only the lazy and insipid wait until the last minute for something so critical as this.

Ummm... Yeah... Let's just paint everyone with a broad brush because it fits our preconceived notions.

What about people who moved recently? I moved within the past month and haven't had a moment to update my voter registration ... So I wouldn't be able to vote where I live now.

But no... It's easier to just say that they must be keeping it open as a Democrat plot to get.... Whatever you think the dems are going to get with more Florida voters....

Drafter, I didn't move far. But many others have. Most wouldn't drive 50 miles to vote.

Fair enough, it's available. But the point still stands, there is a reason for someone to want to be able to register this close to the election.

I don't think the extension is biased.
But the people are still lazy.

Because we're talking about a Florida state government agency...yes, I will use a broad brush to paint with because it DOES fit.

As far as you go with your moving situation...you're not in Florida are you?

With this election, you of all people would've taken precautions to mail in your vote or run to whatever local government agency changes your polling place for you for registration purposes. Didn't you? No?

I never said it was a Democratic plot. What I said was they were trying to make an already unpopular governor appear to be a bad guy when in fact he holds no power to alter the process...legally.

Now, the "window" has been opened through the proper authorities so all of those poor poor disenfranchised voters can cast their vote.

Thanks for personalizing what people post though.

Yes..they do. Stand in their lines...take the little ticket...sit...wait to be called...rinse, lather, repeat.
