I don't know if this has ever been asked. I'm curious only because of a stereotype I just read.

I'll go first.

I have a Bachelors in Business Administration.

I got a BS in BS, and a MS in sarcasm.

I've been 4 lower division classes shy of my BS in criminal justice administration for 3 years. Finished my capstone in July 2013. Ran out of military benefits, and just never finished. I could clep the 4 classes I need, or take them at a JC... no motivation to do it, though.

Heh... I did it for 2 years at UW madison.... studied effects of polyunsaturated fatty acids on stearyl coA desaturase in hepatic cells and live mice. ... burned out, walked away. Told them I'd be back in 2 weeks for my masters and never spoke to them again.

I tend to agree. One of my best friends in the world, and one of the smartest most successful people I have ever met has his high school degree.

I went to a lot of colleges and took a lot of classes... passed a lot of them too...

someday I'm gonna try to remember what all of those colleges are and round up my transcripts and see how close I am to a 4 year degree... pretty sure I've got enough for my 2 year at least...

B.A. in Journalism and Communications, Certificate in Construction Estimating. A few other alphabet soup characters useful in construction.

After you have been out of school for 5+ years I am more interested in what you have accomplished than where you went and what you studied.

Too bad I never use them. Maybe when I get out next year, I can put them to use.

I think I learned much, much more in my 20 years in the Navy, traveling the world and living abroad, than I ever learned going to a classroom.

I, too am pursuing a PMP. Seems like most tech managememt/exec roles could really benefit from this discipline. All part of my plans for world domination.
