^have you tried pure CBD? I hear you guys are a little further along with that than we are in ca...

I've been using the bhang cbd crystalline isolate and I have to admit it's pretty miraculous... had a severe migraine a few weeks ago, dabbed a small amount of bho with a bunch of cbd, head pain and aura were immediately gone... still felt like sh*t all day but the worst of it was gone immediately...

A friend's FIL uses tinctures and suave to treat the ongoing pain from Shingles. Got him off oxy and other pain opiates, and is having a remote-controlled nerve block implant removed. At 80yrs old, he will be skiing the mountain this year.

Heard tinctures are also helpful with treating the effects from the flu - alleviates body & head aches, relieves nausea while restoring appetite. Have tried a suave on joints after a long day of hiking, and was surprised at how helpful it was.

my buddies wife swears she'd be bed ridden without the tinctures... all kinds of chronic pain issues...

I've heard that same oxy story time and time again and I never get sick of it... 80 years old and skiing is pretty awe inspiring...

I had one old guy with major back issues come into the shop once.... said after years of prescription pain addiction his buddy made him smoke some wax.. said as he sat there high he started formulating a plan to get off the pills... kicked the habit, switched to cbd to avoid the high, and his back pain is all but gone...

probably shouldn't even say this, but the day after ca legalized, "someones" aunt called them and said their 88 year old grandma was fed up with pain and pills and could that someone please track something down for her... CBD is on the way...

There are several high CBD low THC autoflower strains that are out now . The ones I saw were 5 to 6% CBD and <9 THC and went from seed to harvest in 75 days .

I think it would have passed here in AZ if it wasn't for all the negative ads they were putting out.

If anyone were to do any research on the topic, they would have realized that the ads were full of sh1t.

Don't know why people wouldn't want it, the taxes that can be collected are huge.

Also, like Macs said, takes the profit away from the cartels, which is a good thing, mainly because it keeps the money in the states.

Also, when was the last time you heard of a guy beating the hell out of his wife and kids because he smoked too much weed.

The only thing i will say about collecting taxes on it, i still plan on rarely if ever doing... while the government was busy telling me to f*ck myself because i was a pothead, i was establishing channels through which i could purchase pot despite their protest... now that they're done protesting, my channels aren't suddenly going away...

Have no problem with a reasonable tax being applied, similar to alcohol. In CO recreational MJ is still taxed far less than tobacco. Medical the least of all if you are registered on the guberment list.

My problem lies with how these tax codes are written. Tax money in CO was supposed to go towards education and the schools. Many news articles reported the State having to return Federal funds due to the over-collected amount of tax money from MJ sales. Now our County just passed a new mil-levy tax to collect funds to "MATCH" the amount they wanted from the State MJ tax. Instead of rewriting the existing tax code, they passed a new tax so they can use the money from another tax already being collected. IMHO that's totally wrong. In a sense, the homeowners that use the product, buy the product legally from the Dispensary and pay all the local and State sales taxes, are now being taxed twice with the addition of a mil-levy! And those that voted against MJ from the beginning are now being taxed because of it anyway. It's wrong!

Many towns and Counties prohibit MJ sales and grow operations. This not only restricts a free retail market, but prohibits farmers from using their land how they choose. If the town or County is not contributing to the State MJ taxes being collected, they should not have access to the funds.

"Keeps the money in the States"? Right now I'd like to know where all that tax money is going because I'm being taxed for it whether I use it or not.

So true but maybe your channels won't be getting any of the cartels weed . At least that's my hope . I went right to the farmer but I'm a barging hunter lol .

My guys grow their own and make their own wax...

Carl - pretty much what happens out here with schools and the lottery... lottery is supposed to contribute so much of what they take in, but in truth, everything the schools collect from taxes is returned to the state as the lottery money comes in...

I was incredibly reluctant... research it under the name butane hash oil... it will get you super high the first time you try it, but after that it's just like smoking a lot of pot without the slowing effects of having put so much smoke in your body... it's a concentrate so basically you just smoke a little to get the effect of a lot...

^^^ It can also be made without the use of butane.

It is much different than the old 70's black Afganny or Turkish hash featured in the movie "Midnight Express". It won't smolder on the tip of a pin, and instead requires specialized apparatuses. It can be mixed with flower, but purists believe that is a waste.

Bubble hash, Cannasap, Shatter, Wax, Caviar Bud, Live Resin, etc, etc, etc. Blah, blah, blah.

IMHO they are all basically just an expensive concentrate. Sativas are available, but the majority are hybrids and indicas.
They are nothing like the old days of blonde, red, or black hash. But they have their place with some.
Save your keef and call it a day.
