WASHINGTON – Donald Trump wants his children to have access to America’s national security secrets, according to a report Monday.

The President-elect’s team asked the White House to give his family top secret security clearances to aid their father’s transition to the nation’s 45th commander-in-chief, according to CBS News.

Ivanka, Eric and Donald Trump Jr. as well as son-in-law Jared Kushner are on the president-elect’s transition team.

The security clearance would designate the kids as Trump’s national security advisors.

Nepotism regulations bar the family from having formal jobs in the White House.

But they wouldn’t need to be government employees to get clearance to review classified information, according to CBS.

Once Trump becomes president he could put in the security clearance request himself.

He went waaaay back for some of those insiders too. Not a fan of his, but certainly hoped for something fresher than Rudy and Newt etc. after all the noise.

I really was hoping to see if Trump would use his business contacts and maybe drag someone good into some of the positions he appoints . Once again a hope crushed . I'll still give him a chance he hasn't screwed up the country yet . I know some want to blame the protests on him but hey Obama is still president . He could have just played 9 holes and used the time left to do his job .
