I'm not eco conscious at all. I don't care. But that's no reason to try to disbelieve any existing science.

My greatest dream is to be able to die laughing of oldish age while watching the world take its last few gasps and take the rest of you azzholes and your miserable offspring with me.

I doubt I'll be so lucky... but a guy can dream can't he.

I agree with Victor, all the scientific evidence pulls toward the idea that global warming/climate change is a hoax. How could less than one percent of the globe's surface area be responsible for the temperature fluctuations of the entire world?

I mean obviously it is due to the butterfly effect Archer style. You know where "a butterfly in Africa lands on a giraffes nose, the giraffe sneezes. That spooks the gazelle. The gazelle bonks into a rhinoceros. The rhinoceros blindly stampedes in to a phone booth, calls JJanecka somehow and says "Hey make a post about how you agree and add something about the scientific evidence because the rhinoceros speaks English". Bwahahahaha

True, true...

You know, Steven Hawkins could learn so very, very much from the wisdom and biting scientific acumen that flourishes here on Cbid.

I could only imagine what his writings would have been like if he attended Cbid 101. I would buy the book for sure. Instead of being titled Universe in a Nutshell it could have been Nuts inside the Shell. lol. Herfing

LOL!
Calling it "science" is funny.
Because it's stupid.

Was it "science" when we had the second coming of the ice age back in the 1970's?

Was it "science" again when we decided it was global warming?

Or is it only "science" now that we've landed on the more generic "climate change"?

And is it caused by fossil fuel consumption?
Or our clear cutting of precious forests?
Or our concrete jungles radiating heat?
Or the way we grow crops or herd cattle?

The exponential growth of Joe Human is likely the largest man-made cause. But you can't tax that in a civilized society. So we blame fossil fuels and sell carbon credits and call it progressive and smart and sciencey.
And then we ridicule and mock anyone who questions the "science".

Bravo!

With an open mind and a courageous acceptance of the facts he may yet come to understand the fundimentals and start to peice together the larger picture.

Of cource as we get older our cognitive skills tend to decrease. So maybe you should help him do his taxes?
