The 2015 blend smoked very well even with a punch cut. Strong, very beefy with a nice white pepper kick. Samuel Smith's Nut Brown has long been a favorite. But the smoke completely overpowered the brew, and made the it taste bitter & skunked. Switched to a simple lager which paired much better, and didn't interfere with the smoke.
