Following several days of seeking contact with or news about Rickamaven, I got a phone call today from one of his sons early this afternoon ... sadly, Rick passed away in February of this year ...

In what I am sure will be a sentiment shared with many others here, I must say that I will miss him profoundly ... despite extreme differences in political views, he and I shared many things in common and it is with great sadness that I relay this news ...

Sad

Oh man. I had a feeling this was the reason his house was sold.

RIP Rick! You were one for the ages....

Rest in Peace, my brother. I had the good fortune of meeting him and Toby in Vegas, and sharing smokes with them at my house and at his.

I'm sure you are right.

Here's hoping all your smokes are well aged and you are resting peacefully.

RIP Mr. Rick. Don't think I ever had any exchanges with Rick but he had to be a good guy being a former USAF airman.

Thanks for being the bearer of bad news, Steve.

Rick will be missed, but he lived a good life and we should all be so lucky.

And Steve, it was great speaking with you the other day. Too long, my friend.
As the news in this thread can attest to.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Rick, but we did swap a few emails. A kind man and will be missed.

I know he loved his family and was very proud of them all.

Prayers for his loved ones.

RIP Rick.

RIP

Rick was one of the first people to greet me on the boards. He sent me a newbie package that included some smokes and some music.

A great BOTL.

I was also in Vegas with Rick and he was nothing but a kind gentleman. First Class all around. I certainly miss his side of politics on this board. RIP Mr. Rick Pray

R.I.P.

MR. RICK

He was a good man.

His posts were always interesting but he typed
"ahead of his thoughts" and missing words were
Always a challenge to fill in...

I always really enjoyed the pictures from his Herfs,
back porch and his dogs.

Missed the Rick passing.

Understated and humble in person. A gentle soul.

Big Chief won't have a chance to talk if he is at the table with Rick & Wheel.

^^^ duuuude....

I don't "miss" words...
I just don't tell everything to the enth' degree...

In my situation it's better to leave the
"BIG time secret info ...out" and just get the jist of the info across...and infer to the public what these
GOVERNMENT COWARD FELON PRICKS ALREADY KNOW...

TOO SAVE MY SORRY AZZ...

IT's worked so far...

I do misspell a lot...
That I will give you hands down...

I spent some time chatting and herfing with him at his house last year. He was an interesting man, and although he was obviously ill, had a sharp memory and wit. He mused about his CBid experiences and spoke fondly of his CBid buddies. He was frustrated that he couldn't log in after he bought a new computer. He refused to download a new browser, but he continued to monitor the site and look in on all the shenanigans...

RIP, RICKAMAVEN
