The OR Camacho Corojo was a strong but full flavored cigar that would hit you hard but in a good way. The LFD DL chisel has been a favorite but the non-chisel smokes very differently and I did not enjoy it. The JdN 70 is strong ROTT but ages so nicely. Have enjoyed some Diesel Unlimited Maduro from a trade on here as well.

I smoke a few Fausto a week, and never thought of them as real strong....so I may not be the best judge....

I've still got a sealed box of 2011 WMD's. Great, strong cigar, but I suspect they've mellowed a little....might be time to crack it open....I thought the dink was going to buy 'em some time ago, but he chickened out.

I smoked one of my last couple TNT's about a month ago and they've calmed down considerably

Only cigar that the nic got to me a little was LFD DL 6x60....I agree with Shawn...not nearly enough flavor to justify the power. I love DL chiselitos, but a 60RG DL seemed rather pointless to me.

A local in Raleigh used to sell an LFD Icepick was an incredible strong, tasty cigar. Not sure they're still made....I have only one left :(

As mentioned above El Cobre and Rico were very good, very strong cigars that are no longer made.

Hank, when did you purchase the Royal Silk? I only know of two; one from 8-10 years ago - was an awesome, smooth/creamy med corojo....I have maybe one left :(
The other was a poor resurrection a couple/few years ago that was poorly made and unsmokeable to me....lousy burn and muddled, nasty flavors...admittedly, I only tried one and gave the rest away...maybe I got a dud?

Maybe you'd like the hot sauce cigar they sell here (used to, at least.) I forget what it was called....I thought it a gimmick, but truth was that if you rinsed off the cap, it wasn't an awful cigar

The Royal Silk was from like 7 years ago. Sucks that the newer ones aren't as good. I may have to try some stuff from the LFD brand as they are listed a few times on here. Never had any. I remember when I first started smoking cigars they were only considered average. Must have changed a lot or the people that smoked cigars just didn't like them.

I don't smoke a lot of LFD's, but I have great respect for Litto Gomez. I didn't appreciate the big RG DL, but I have never had an LFD that I thought was 'average'.....I consider them to be above the average cigar available here on cbid

Was the hot sauce cigar the Cu Vana Punisher?

So I have been working on figuring out what I really like in a cigar and saying a cigar is strong might not really nail down what I like most. It seems that I really like extremely spicy cigars.

Given that, the thread title and OP should ask...

What are the spiciest cigars on the market?

What say you?

I agree on the OR Camacho Corojo, that thing hits you hard. I also would put in the Cuban Parejo big ring gauge at the time(6x60) from back in the day, early 2000s. They still make it,but it doesn't have the same kick. I gave one to friend back when we could still smoke in bars... long time ago. He got about 1/4 of the way in and ran for the bathroom to puke his pitcher up. Man, those were the days....

I'm letting a 3 pack of Camacho powerband ROTT rest for a bit. Hoping these will be a contender

Saw this one out there and it looks like a fun one to continue...

Some that have kicked my a$$

LFD Diez - yep. bam
LFD Oro Chisel
I'll add that LFD flavors are sort of out of my taste profile now. I used to love them, now I find them just strong but flavor not complex

Oliva Family Blend 3 Robusto - time and again this cigar gets me. I like the flavors coming off of it too

Cain F - yep. agree with most of you on that

I found some original LG Diez (the ones with no dates, pretty sure those were the original) at a shpo in the clearance bin a couple months back.

Man those things age well, I would still consider them med full after all that time where most cigars would just fall flat.

Strongest that I've smoked that I can remember was probably an LFD Digger I had one time during golf. That thing was just a monster.

I've also had my palate wrecked a few times by JDN Dark Corojos... decided not to buy any more of those because of said palate wrecking.

Back in the day, La Gloria Cubana was known as a very strong smoke. I am not sure about now.

Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970...I have been smoking cigars for 20 years and prefer stronger smokes...but this one kicked my ass.
It's hard to find a really strong smoke that isn't harsh.

I've always been a fan of strong and spicy cigars. I have a few Tat T110s sitting. The first ones I smoked years ago I really enjoyed. I smoked one about a year ago and they've really mellowed a lot.
I've always liked the LFD DL Chisel, JDN 1970 although I feel that in the last couple years they've became a little less strong.
I also liked the spicy characteristics of the original Pepin Blue.
