That's why I didn't get them. She said they were going to be limited release and they didn't know if they were getting another box

BTW, I was joking. I sent out around 20 of the first pre-production Dirty Rats to people here for Jon about 7-8 years ago.

Dirty Rats have always been "limited release", I don't know the frequency at which they are released, but they do come out every now and then.

If you like strong, heavy cigars they are great.

I may have to slide back in there and see if any are left. The guy working there said no one knew what they were so the whole box was still there. But that was 3 days ago

The recent releases have been much better than they were just a couple years back, though they haven't been as good as the ones thundergerbil sent out and the OR.

Totally worth trying one if you like strong cigars, they are much better than the Ratzillas, or Velvetrats IMO. L40's are good too.

Personally, I thought the Ratzilla was boring as all get out. The OR L40's were phenomenal.

The newer L40's are good just one demensional, but I find most LP that way. Like Padrons, it's usually a good dimension though.

that's an interesting cigar shop if no one there knows what a dirty rat is 7 years after they've been released...

I'm curious how they managed to get them in the first place...

and also curious what other aged gems they might have in there...

go in and ask if anyone's ever heard of Ashton, and if they haven't ask them to point you in the direction of the VSG's... Herfing

Smoked my first Dirty Rat on Christmas Eve-was gifted it a year or two ago. Probably one of the one-dimensional releases cause all I got was pepper.
