Looking to do a trade for a couple Java Mint Cigars. I am a huge mint fan and am really curious about this one. Willing to do a trade for a couple. I have a lot of random stuff I can trade (EPC, Padilla Habano, Padilla 1968, Obsidian Double Perfecto, LPH, Padilla La Terraza, among a few other randoms in that range).

Next time I stop by my shpo I'll look.

The mint isn't overpowering on these, not bad for a flavored. Really not bad for a RP

Also have some Torano Noventas. ZRX1200 you generally know what I have. haha

Don't want to put anyone out, just seeing if someone has some lying around they are willing to part with. If not, I will probably just pick up a 5er, although I don't really want to spend $40-50 on 5 of them if I don't like them. Unfortunately none of the B&M's have them around me.

I found the Java mint sickeningly sweet. The regular Java was pleasant.

I only thought the original Java was alright. Just another cigar in my book. Really just want to try the Mint because I love all things Mint.

I tried some a few years ago and was disappointed. The mint flavor I expected was not there...maybe my experience smoking menthol cigarettes many years ago set me up for the disappointment.

Exactly why I'm not really even into the idea of buying a 5 pack. Just want to try one or two.

Try smoking a candy bar instead.

Not sure if it was the power of suggestion, but I smoked a Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 last night, and noticed a minty taste on the finish. The mint was noticeable on the finish, especially through the nose when retrohaling. Not an artificial "cool" taste like peppermint, but a vegetal mint like a mint leaf.

There have been other times when I've tasted the flavor when smoking other cigars, names that unfortunately, don't come to mind.

Love the 1970...don't know if I noticed the mint though. I have one more resting so I will have to see.

It was subtle and the cigar was aged about 2 years.

Finally got to try one last night. My buddy had one buried in his humidor. It wasn't great but not bad either. I don't think I would seek them out but wouldn't turn them down either. Mint was barely there and mostly on the tongue after blowing out. Fair amount of bitter cocoa. Like a 6-7/10
