LMAO no last night staying in LA, I work here a half day tomorrow then hop a afternoon flight to the land of sanity. I may come back if they get overwhelmed here again.

I think I still have the recipe somewhere.

I've been here a long time and and just started to realize how many things I've posted that I now regret!

but don't quote me.

Regret?

Frank love means never saying you’re sorry, and we all love you.

Except Teedubya, he calls you names.

New to the beer game. Here we go.

6935 - Curmudgeon's Better Half
6936 - Willett Whiskey Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

6937 - Russian River Consecration Ale

Aged in cabernet sauvignon casks, 10% abv, and $17 a bottle. I was curious. Tastes like a good beer mixed with a decent wine... paired well with the RyJ Cazadore I smoked, but I won't buy more. I prefer a good beer with no frills.

6938 - Pliny the Elder

Total wine had 4 cases delivered yesterday... I got my 3 bottle limit. Then drove to Baron's Market 2 towns away who got a few more than 4 cases and had a sign saying "no limit on Russin River beers". Got 6 more and the bottle of Consecration.

Beer fridge tally: lots of Spaten Lager, 11 Pacifico, 11 Pliny, and a handful of other beers... plus the wife put some coconut water in there. Prolly thinks with all the beer I drink I could use the electrolytes. Beer

Ballast Point also makes a Victory at Sea Porter. IIRC it's pretty damn good.

Hey old man... I'm an old sailor that usually just drinks tried and true beers with no frills... German Lagers and Fest Biers. Don't expect me to keep up with name changes and sh*t.

Sometimes I think the respective values as placed by the beer geeks has more to do with availability than pure taste.
Naw, that can't happen.Think
