7097 - Hubbard's Hazelnut Pot De Creme 12%

Not a big fan of hazelnut aroma or taste usually but this is quite a good, unctuous milk shake style. Thanks to USNgunner for this one.

Early start, lol.

Just never acquired the taste for hardly any beer, I do love some mead, though. But, that's technically a wine, so I'm told. I prefer good liquor that's over 100 proof, at least.

Yep. The HyVee in Moline had it.

I'm not sure how well it traveled though. It was good, but not a "gotta get more of it". Of course neither was the CBS this year. I may have to take a hiatus from the imperials for a while.

My neighbor and I were discussing that. I forget what we were drinking, but we were both, "It's ok". But then it hit me, we have been drinking a lot of epic barrel aged stouts and imperials. Some big IPA's too. After a steady diet of those, a good "regular" beer seems to pale.

I may have to do a reset. Beer

I go crazy with the imperials and lose taste for lower abv stouts and such as well.

I thought this years cbs was better than last couple years though. The maple wasn't so overpowering to me.

Will check back in later though with a beer update, at a dance recital now
