I don't know if I'd call Jorge "beautiful," but I respect your life decisions

I have an opinion here.......Cuban cigars are just another choice in the candy store.I used to love the Bolivar profile but over time I have shifted to the Partagas profile.Few other marcas get my attention these days.......I do still keep some RyJ Coronito's en Cedro on hand, offly tasty little treat.Other than these I like Nicaraguan and DR offerings better.

Smoke what floats your boat

Considering the low end and the high end of the pool, I did generalize them. They are the about the same in the middle.

Okay, so I have had a few CC's now and they were generally pretty good, but it seems that all of the ones I have had have similar flavor profiles: leather, nutty, creamy, toasty.

Are there any strong CC's or rather spicy flavor profiles?

i asked a similar question a year ago and was told the ryj cazzadore is a reasonably priced, stronger cc

Try the Partagas Serie D 4 or 5. Both have a stronger flavor profile than many CCs...

Party's do have a bit stronger profile than most CC's, but the definition of strength is very different in their tobacco.
If you are looking for Pepin-type pepper blasts, don't look to Cuba.

I actually just had the PSD4 over the weekend. It was good, but not as amazing as some make it out to be. Not sure if I would consider it strong though. Maybe I will give the 5 a swing.

Maybe another way to ask is for something very complex. The few I have had seem to have a few dimensions to them, but I would expect more out of CC's and all the hype they get. I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy. ha

If you are used to smoking things like Anejos, LFD, Camacho, Diesel, Liga Privada, JdN, Padron Anniversary cigars, and probably half of what comes out of Nicaragua these days, etc, you will probably never find a Cuban cigar that you think of as "strong"

Complexity is an interesting thing that means different things to different people. It can also be more obvious in some cigars than in others.

That is a really good point. Complexity is also hard to describe. I would say for me it is a cigar that you can pull a lot of flavors from, especially relatively unique flavors. Also the flavors change throughout the cigar, back and forth, with some flavors being obvious and others you need to find with a refined palette.
