Purge the cigar a few times or just get a new cigar if it's been over a day.

If you soak it in everclear it should burn just fine. Make a good mosquito repellent. Keep away from hands or face!

Knock off the ash, purge the cigar, relight it and purge it again.

Never relight a cigar, get out another one so it's not stale, pull out another $100 bill a light up the new one.

If you stop smoking before the cigar is done you ought to buy smaller cigars that you can finish.

If it just happens to go out I will purge it and continue again. If I just couldn't finish it, it is done and I grab a new one. Don't know if I have ever had that happen though, I always finish the cigar...unless it is disgusting.

Additionally, if it has been more than a couple minutes, and it tastes sorta chitty, you may want to clip another 1/8 inch or so.....sometimes tar, saliva, smoke....combine to make a nastiness that can be simply cut off

if it has been sitting a while and feels dry then i wouldnt waste my time

if you are attempting to save it i would recut it past the ash and recut the shoulder if you have some cap left as well

purge it the best you can

anything more than relighting after the cigar goes out on its own and i dont think it would be within my desired flavor profile

but to each his own

There is (was?) a company called RePuff.

Before setting the cigar down, you ashed it, put a cherry on it, then put 3-4 drops of their solution on it.

This stuff works great.

www()repuff()com

They may not be in business anymore. Their facebook page is still up but the website address didn't work.

I've mentioned it a few times on this forum; this question comes up about every year or so.

I saw them at RTDA/IPCPR every year for awhile. Maybe they couldn't get enough traction to keep it going. It's a shame cause it was good stuff!

Can you track them down through facebook?

Good people. Tell'em I sent ya.

Repuff. Interesting. Wonder what was in it. Seems defunct.
