Applause

Ben Affleck have a great performance.
He's gotta be 40+? And I know I couldn't do those moves at 40....

Great premise for the movie...
Very good script too...

Gotta love obsessive complusiveness...

His female handler was an awesome twist...

I want to buy an AIRSTREAM and take
really famous ART as payment....

Funny thing is...I KNOW ART...
and I didn't recognize either of those particular paintings....kinda like
Pieces that float thru private hands and are never photographed....
"Shades of the Eiger Sanction"

All in all...
I give it an 8.25 for action and originality...

Meh...I thought is was...crap.

Then again I'm no fan of Bennifer.

The whole premises was pretty much a stab at whatever would stick.

Anti-social Autistic kid becomes a hitman and is "Rainman" with people's financial sheets? Yeah. Suppose he was a good Batman to some too.

He really needs to get behind the camera and leave acting to somebody else. ANYBODY ELSE!

He's in the same category as Tom Cruise and Will Smith. All of them have 1, maybe 2 movies worth watching more than once...and most you wish you'd NEVER seen!

Enjoyed the premise of the movie and the acting was good. I pretty much figured it out, few minor discrepancies, early on, so there weren't any nice surprises.

#3 DMV...
You sure are hard to please...

I'm up here in "my FARADAY CAGE CABIN"
and this ^^^ Redbox movie was the HIGH lite
Of my week....

I know it wasn't a "classic" ....
But it was very entertaining....

I know Ben Affleck is "so-so" most of the time
But he has some good performances....
His bit part in "???" (action movie in lake Tahoe as a bail bondsman) was pretty good...

Yes, I am hard to please.

I do not offer gratuitous applause to rambling idiots lucky enough to find their way to Hollywood and make a movie.

Hollywood needs to step up their game. All the remakes can go to hell. The mediocre movies can go there too.

There are lots of great books that have NEVER made their way to the silver screen with actors that will deliver but they feel they have to cast the same idiots in the same roles with the same movies over and over and over again.

Cary Grant is dead.

Please give me 3 movies that Bennifer "delivered" the "goods".

The only Afleck movies that can think of....and my continued interest has much more to do with screenplay and direction than Affleck's acting
Chasing Amy
Good Will Hunting
Argo - I wanted to like it...and going into it as 'entertainment for entertainment's sake' got it close...
Seems to me that Jersey Girl had him, right?...another that I wanted to like, but missed the mark for me..not sure that was his fault...maybe it was
Dogma - This one I liked for a lot of reasons, but I like it DESPITE Damon (and Affleck)

Affleck's dooshness prevents his being a good/likable actor. He is death to any role.

OP you didn't recognize Dogs Playing Poker?

AKA good way to pass time on a cross-country flight and while not a big Affleck fan it was good casting. He kind of strikes me as a high-function guy on the spectrum already. And I'm surrounded by lots of OCD folks between family and co-workers.
