What do you recommend. I just started drinking coffee with my cigars. I enjoy it a lot better then with scotch, beer, soda or anything else.

Now whats a great cigar to go with a morning coffee.

My thoughts exactly.

Some people would say a nice, smooth Connie but I would personally dig for my darkest cigar. Kick the day off right.

I did have a Cusano once with coffee and it was pretty good even though it isn't a great cigar.

Not an infused fan, but for some reason I found myself with a Tabak Especial Red Eye in Vegas last year. It was a great compliment to my morning coffee. I thought I'd like Perdomo 10th anny Champagne for the following morning's cigar. Not so much.

Yup, just about any cigar goes good with some java. Most Cubans seem to go exceptionally well.

If looking for a good inexpensive milder morning smoke, I have been quite pleased with the Padilla La Treraza Connie. First got them as a freebie with an order and was pleasently surprised.

Much more flavorful than most Connecticuts I have had. Often good deals on the mothership and here as well. Having one with some New Orleans Style coffee on the patio right now!

The one being smoked at that time and place.

Obviously, I have a flair for the obvious.

Very rarely have a morning cigar, but when I do. it's something on the milder side.
JAVA is a nice infused cigar that I like with coffee in the morning.

I only do morning cigars when I work 12 hour shifts. 8pm to 8am. And then I stop at the Vets Hall, which is half way between my room and work. And then I like a Tabak Especial, but not with coffee, with Bass Ale.

Beer

For some reason I usually end up with a montecristo (nc) white corona in the (rare) mornings that a stick accompanies my coffee. Mild to medium, smooth, a little coffee and a little vanilla with a hint of pepper. Far too mild for my normal tastes and most likely an air ball for daily smokers but I like them, especially when I don't want to analyze what I'm tasting.

I'm a fan of the Perla del Mar for a morning smoke. Not overpowering, yet still has some nice flavor.

Had the day off on Monday. Thoroughly enjoyed my Kristoff San Andres with my cup of coffee on the front porch. Highly recommended.

In addition to CCs, I’ve enjoyed these with my morning coffee:

AF Mag R44
Tat PCR

But, I haven’t had a morning cigar in a few years so when I do start up again, wanna broaden my horizons and try other smokes.
