Periodically when I visit my brother's I pull one of his La Gloria Cubana Maduro Robustos which are about 10 years old from a trip his friend took to Dominican Republic. I remember when he got them they just looked and tasted bland as hell but now they're seeping with oil and they have such a black sheen on them like I've never seen and are really decent smokes for what are normally just cheap **** cigars.

Double up on the typical schizo cbid sales price and try some others.... This is a good place to buy a box you might not normally purchase. Watch for the lowest price sold and stick with it . In time it will return to a solid deal for you(in most cases).
Q
PS I enjoy the schizo when walking ...not a bad yard cigar.

schizo is actually a step up for Terry. He usually likes Gurkha's. . .

As for my favorite, can;t bet the ol' standby of a AF Hemmingway work of Art Maduro

Are the woams consistent flavor wise throughout like a Padron or do they have a few transitions?

Hardly a "favorite cigar," but it's tough to beat those for a cheap smoke - especially considering what you can get them for here. Everyone I've given a stick to has enjoyed it.

Not a favorite, but I've been happy recently with some CAO Extreme toros with a 3 mo nap time.

I rarely smoke the same cigar twice within a short period of time, but two that I have really enjoyed recently are the Surrogates Cracker Crumbs and the Obsidian Sixty.

Current favorite is Latitude Zero, in Excursion Robusto size . Picked up 5-pack for free shipping been buying them since. A little mild for my normal taste, but great flavor and priced great.

I got 2 bundles of those Toro 60? Ring maduro schizos
That have turquoise and black labels...
They are way to harsh and get worse with age...
I smoke them only when they are the last
Sticks in my car herf-a-dor...

They pretty much suck...but they look good and burn well, Just freakin' harsh...

never been too willing to cite just one...besides, ask me again in a week or a month, my answer would be different.

Might change in the course of a single evening.....For about 40 minutes the other night, I might have said 'BOTL.org 2013 Corona'. First 2/3 were incredible...but, then the cigar turned south in a big way for no apparent reason.

So....favorite cigar of this past weekend was probably a Mr. Sam rob...but, then again, Punch Punch was close...time to order more...current favorite in a few days will likely be something different
