Why would anyone bid higher than the price cigars are available at CI or cigars.com? Isn't the idea to save money? Am I missing something?

Yes, you're missing a lot.

Biscuits aren't quite done.

Couple bricks short of a load.

A beer short of a six-pack

elevator doesn't go to the top floor

Yeah...you're missing a lot.

Hop in the car and buy your cigars instead of bitching about it here on a forum. What a pu$$.

Perhaps to save / maximize on shipping?

I did it once on a different bid site but only because they had flat rate shipping. I sniped in on a 5er of WOANs (...well before MAP...) and went $1 or $2 over the regular site pricing. They did warn me about the overbid but at that point in time I just wanted something else to add to my order.

Another reason: just too dumb to check? Brick wall

Welcome! Your name is vastly outdated. Do you mind if we call you . . . well, "perryhomo" is a little too obvious . . . how about "perrycumstain"?
