Ok, but this should be the last squirrel theme - the noops will think we are as wierd as them.

It's National Clam Chowder Day and National Chocolate Covered Nut Day.

It's 63 F out there right now, missed a record high yesterday by 1 degree.

Fished for many years from a 21 footer before I got old. Couldn't take the beating now but, the maintenance aspect sure was better.

Great minds and all that... BigGrin

Washer drum is slowly filling with water. Punched in "whirlpool duet washer filling with water", and figured out the inlet valve has a slow leak. New part is $60 shipped, and takes about 15 minutes to replace (already watched a video).

Man... you gotta love the internet.

Man United in the EFL Cup final this morning. Coffee. Too cold for a smoke. Maybe burn some stuff this afternoon. I live a life of excitement.

Good luck, Monkey. I can't find that game on my cable package.

No Arsenal, Manchester, or City makes for a bland EPL weekend. Coming off of an FA Cup weekend, I'm going through quality futbol withdrawl.

Got a cup of coffee... raining a little, so it looks like delta's pork chops will be cooked indoors.

I got a patio cover, so I am still planning on smoked ribs, either for late lunch or dinner.

It actually feels like winter in Sconnie today. But we are supposed to get back in the 60's this week. What a strange winter, or lack thereof.

I make a quart container of rub at a time, so mine is already made. Got the ribs, just about to prep them and the smoker.

I thought about that for a brief second... then figured I'd just use my all purpose rub since it is on hand.

My rub doesn't have onion powder or MSG, but it's got all the other ingredients and a bit more... Smoked paprika and creole seasoning.

I dunno. Just never thought of it.

It has brown sugar, montreal steak seasoning, seasoned salt, creole seasoning, cayenne pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, granulated garlic... and such.
