Sometimes I watch the NIGHTLY NEWS
on NBC, ABC, OR CBS...

then get sucked into
Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood...

AFTER FIVE-TEN MINUTES I REACH
"STAR OVERLOAD" or " I COULD CARE *****IN' LESS WHAT BEYONCE DOES" or "TELL MARIAH CARRIE
TO GO **** herself & that 7'5" BILLIONAIRE freak she stole a $30 million dollar diamond from"...

CUT ME A *****IN' HUSK...
WTF???

Who cares about CRYBABY stars and DIVA's...
****'em...

I enjoy the LOW-KEY ACTOR'S WHO DODGE THOSE NIGHTLY E.T. SHOWS LIKE THE PLAGUE...

MOST actor's have no choice and have to go to the OSCARS, IT IS MANDATED ATTENDENCE.

I have bigger problems than those snowflake
Buttercup puzzzies...
Get a grip you over privileged whiners....

Just finished a rare ribeye cooked outside in a smoking cast iron skillet. Sitting by the fire with my dog while smoking a Power Ranger and drinking a Bahama Mama frozen daiquiri. Classic Rewind playing on XM Sirius.

Stick a fork in me. I'm done.

Sounds good. I just fired up the Webber (charcoal) grill. Gonna throw on a couple of NY Strips. Do some garlic bread, veggies, rice, and of course beer. Maybe a nice IPA.

Wtf? I don't know what you've heard, but it's not true. Or I needed the money to get me through college and stuff.

made a chicken pot pie and am watching the Oscars.

It's never been about acceptance speeches for me, I try to avoid knowing anything about any celebrity's life outside of their performances, don't care if they are on my side, though most are, or not.

it's about tremendous acting for me. I love movies, I love where they can take you, what they can teach you, how they are crafted by the director much like an author creates a novel (auteur theory?). This year there was some amazing acting and I'm just curious to see if my opinion and critiques of the performances has been the rule or the exception...and when it's over, it never mattered.

Awards are like elections..right or wrong, they eventually become part of history.

Obviously you are familiar with this. I prefer to be sheltered. I'm sure this isn't something one would expect to see on prime time TV.

Wouldn't know.

C'est La Vie

But, I did watch Hacksaw Ridge a couple days ago. One hell of a great movie. I'm glad Mel told Desmond Doss' story.

I liked "LA LA boyeeeee"

Way better in "DRIVER"...

Petal to the metal and a hammer....
The Spider on the coat was a bit much...

Never attract attention....
Blend into the crowd...

"We dress like students
We dress like HOUSEWIVES or in a
Suit or a tie...."

Some drama at the end of the show last night. Best Picture award was incorrectly announced and as the "winners" were near the end of their acceptance speeches, someone told them a mistake was made, and another movie had actually won...holy...moly...worse than Steve Harvey and Miss Colombia...

"Manchester By the Sea" made frank proud..."Moonlight" Abrignac's biography won the big one...
