At face value it does appear fishy. But, undoubtedly there is more to this story. How long has this been in the works? In deal like this, there are penalties for backing out. If this has already been in the works, then I'm sure there are hefty penalties that would be incurred if the company backed out. So what if it's the highest price paid for a building. What's more important is what is the price per square foot. Is that more inline?

Not gonna say that there isn't something to this but, if one takes the time to check out the author's body of work he will find that this isn't the first time he's lobbed questionable accusations towards Trump and his family.

I didn't read it because of the source. But....

Lots of reporting on this, deutch bank, cypress bank, the Russian money launderer that paid a record amount for trumps house then bulldozed it etc.

I think there is a new Dominican deal going through that previously couldn't because of the foreign investment committee wouldn't approve but now it's ok because the committee is mostly his cabinet. Yea!

I found it amusing for such a story to use a clown website to post for it. If it's such "breaking news"...you'd expect it all over the place besides fringe websites.

... do you think there's some central control over what websites post? This site probably picked up the same Reuters news as any others that published it. This was the second time I'd run across the story and didn't bother going back to whatever site I'd seen it on first...

But go on.. focus on the website while this crap goes on.

Carping about a website has its purpose. I've done it myself... if there's a story with no supporting evidence and no corroborating sources posted on someplace like breitbart.... it's probably false. But guess what... if it's also posted on CNN or the AP or BBC... then it's probably true.

I thought the C-Bid Truth in Media Committee decreed that the above named "mainstream" news sources were in fact puppets and purveyors of fake news while real news could only be found on fringe sources.

Someone just point at THE LEGITIMATE news source so I can know what to trust.

If you can't separate information and fact from source then there is no helping you.

If breitbart publishes "2+2=4" I'll believe them. I'm not going to whine about the source. It's a well supported mathematical fact.

If breitbart publishes "2×3=yellow" (as they normally do) I'll state I've not seen that in any math books, and given the source it seems unlikely to be true. It's called critical thinking.

But no... you go focus only on the source. I take it if I post something from rawstory saying "2+2=4" you're going to doubt that too....

It's certainly not a public university. No gov't funding, so no entitlement indoctrination, nor are people made to feel bad for atrocities that were committed over a century ago by people who may or may not have been their ancestors.

I base my assessment of someone's intelligence off critical thinking, a demand for evidence to support a claim. The video I've seen with the name Prager on it was pure tripe (and I don't mean that from a partisan standpoint.. I mean it from a "this is not a well crafted argument " standpoint)...

These days it's just about making a bunch if dumb noise in one direction or another (ie... noisily claim Obama wiretapped you... then quietly have your people walk it back when people demand evidence )... no one remembers the quiet part... and a sufficient number of the idiots remember the noisy part. But don't you remember having to craft essays in high school... having to have a theme, supporting evidence and a conclusion.... ? None of this has been demonstrated.

Now... I will admit my assessment if Prager is based off 1 or 2 videos I've seen. They were so dumb I felt no need to see another. If you think there is a video from Prager which exemplifies critical thinking and evidence based conclusions... please provide it and let me see.

Go to youtube and type in Prager University. You can watch all of 'em. Not all of them are political.

I will say that, other than the videos, I am not all that familiar with the university... or if it even is an actual university.
