They just all broke into Hymn...

I try to respect other peoples religious beliefs, but I'm sure they'd pull the train over, and throw me out if I were to start cranking the Reign in Blood album by Slayer....

That's what you get for being on a train. Almost as bad as a greyhound bus.

you kidding? Compared to a greyhound bus, I'm cruising in style... my seat reclines all the way back, and I've spent almost the entire day in the Observation Car getting sheetty on cheap beer, and a smuggled bottle of Glenmoragnie original 10... Also, the singing didn't actually last that long. they sang, they said a prayer, and they all dispersed to their own accommodations. Now I feel like a giant ****** for even bringing it up.

As soon as the observation deck clears, I am going to fire up Reign in blood... Gotta get some nice violence based music to play some violence based video games.... Or Sim City... The inhabitants of my virtual city will be living a nice happy life until I get to Altar of Sacrafice... then I'm burning them to the ground...

I didn't hear all the words, so maybe they were actually channeling to invoke Xenu, but it has been my experience that the Amish are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Not a lot in common with them; I have a laptop, tethered to a phone, with a game controller sticking out of one side, they have bibles, and crochet hooks...

but, I admire their simple life. They may not have a lot of material earthly goods, but they also don't need to spend a crapload of money to maintain a lot of earthly goods...

Yes mostly kidding you were whining, so blood was in the water. See you got sheety on cheap beer on a train and you could've been in the back of the bus with the **** that was all sorts of fuct up on malt liquor.

Violence based video games? GTA 5 scratches that itch for me.

Not sure if that one will let me play without an unternet connection to verify I'm not stealing it, and I don't have a stable enough connection to do any kind of Online games.

Probably play thorugh Zenoclash, or if I can find someone else to play against, break out the StreetFighter IV, and after extensive craptalk, either bust them in half, or get the crap kicked out of me... Eitherway, it'll help pass the time Vs Insomnia.... Normally, I'd go something, bubble water, cough, colors brighter, eat some chips, listen to some shpongle, and be out...

Wait... I thought the Amish eschewed modern technology?

What the hell are they doing on a train?! This has got to be a hoax.

The Amish MEN are great wood woorkers.

Up around BELLEVILLE AND REEDSVILLE there
Are flea markets where these Amish woodworkers
Display really cool furniture and birdhouse designs
Out of old barn wood and old rusted corrugated
Tin.... Really cheap.

Actually, it was. Multipart harmonies, stacked on top of dueling melodies, crossing the entire gammut, including Bass, tenor, alto, and soprano.

And yeah, it has all of the makings of a joke... train, full of Amish, I walked into a bar,

Shhhh.... Don't reveal my secret plan this early. I need some sturdy furniture, and could use a new barn in under a day... If anyone is going to make either of those happen, it's these gentlemen.

They do eschew modern technology... Trains done been invented in the 1700's or so. Don't tell them it's running in Diesel, instead of Coal, and we should be fine...

I was corrected by both Mennonites, and Amish, which were both on the train.

Talked to an Amish guy about his beliefs, and tried to limit the stupid questions of "but how do you internet without a technology." Talked to a Mennonite who corrected me for calling him Amish, ( We have a different length of beard... None) and explained that they don't have any restrictions against technology put on them by their religion, but rather are taught to live without meaningless materialistic objects.

Cool guys.

Well, you have to ask yourself why you keep going to the same place to read mennonite, are you really going there for the reading?

We're men... we're men in tights
We roam around the forest looking for fights.
We're men... we're men in tights.
We rob from the rich and give to the poor, that's right.
