I overbid because I can, plus it is fun to watch all of the babies come here whining about losing to me.

The great cbid meltdown of 2017 also had an effect on the shill bidding program.......so it goes over from time to time.
Should be fixed in a month or so.

When I first started bidding here, I made that mistake once... "Holy Crap! I can get these gurkhas for $6 apiece? THEY SELL THEM FOR $9 EACH AT THE STORE!!!"

After that, I learned CI and CB are basically the same place, and always crosschecked my pricing to make sure I'm not paying more than half.

I don't lose auctions because I'm a winner.

I'll pay more than retail just to make sure you scrubs lose and don't get any of the good stuff.

Oh ya, Gurkhas are trash, nobody should bid on those, if you paid more than $2 a piece for them, you overpaid (seriously).

Losing a bid is a sign of weakness.

I definitely crosscheck and stay under CI pricing. My rule is not to go over the CI price, all in. That way, Im always getting a deal. Don't always win my bids, but I always win, hooah?

But that assumes mother ship pricing is accurate to begin with which certainly isn't true

I overbid mostly because my wife hates it when we have to much cash laying around the house cluttering the place up, she says it gets underfoot and tracked all over the house and she has to dust it and try to keep it arranged neatly................So, mostly I do it for her, it keeps her happy and "Happy wife Happy life" Liar

Charlie Sheen has various handles on this website, and since he has tiger blood and refuses to lose an auction:
overbidding happens = WINNING!

We should start a "penalty box" for overbid thread creators. Don't ban them, just take away their right to start a new thread for 30 days (but they can still reply to threads). After 30 days, if they still don't get it...ban them.

OP -- this is not directed at you -- just thinking out loud.

....."Expensive cigars just taste better, simple logic. The more you bid the better they taste.....get it??" YES!!!! LOL, probably for some I am sure it does. The amount of LOTS they are offering to bid on are WAY DOWN. Less selection means higher bids. Pay full price here or full price at C.I. or Cigar.com, not much difference. Maybe some day they will START offering 120 Packs of 5, 120 Boxes, 300 to 400 Quickies, and 500 Singles again per day to chose from once they get their so-called upgrade under control.
