I thought it was pretty good for what it was.

I don't know how much notice he had on it, but it looked like him and the bassist were constantly looking at each other to try and keep pace.

I don't think it needed the extra verse, but he might have got a little too high before the show (I noticed it live).

It seems to me like it might have been somewhat impromptu where another performer cancelled or something.

As far as technique, if you're making effort to stay with the melody (unlike the Jimi rendition), then there's only so much you can do with it.

Just about every single person here in Vegas has bet on Golden State it seems, the only thing they can't agree on is if it will be in 4 or 5

I know the point is moot now, but just out of curiosity, (It wasn't stated in the rules.) . . .
Was the "without going over" stipulation in affect in regards to the Total Points.
I assumed that it WAS, and THAT made for an even MORE nail-biting experience for me in the closing seconds of the game.
