Uh... I mean college students. d'oh!

http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/04/28/college-students-hate-obama-policies-when-theyre-credited-trump-campus-reform

"College students seem to disagree with President Obama's policies when they're under the impression that they are President Trump's accomplishments, a new video from Campus Reform reveals.

Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips and Amber Athey recently visited the George Mason University campus in Fairfax, Virginia, to get students' opinions on Trump's first 100 days.

Instead of getting reaction to Trump's accomplishments, however, Phillips and Athey actually asked the students about things Obama did during his first 100 days in office.

Students were quick to turn on Obama's liberal policies when they believed they were associated with Trump.

When asked about Obama’s "Apology Tour," one student said the former president "overstepped his bounds."

"I think it's a bad thing for him," another agreed.

As for Obama's $700 billion stimulus package, one student said it was "really reminiscent" of Nazi Germany.

"Knowing that Donald Trump is the one proposing it probably means that there's some turd in the punchbowl somewhere," another said.

Students also were not fans of Obama's executive order to loosen statute of limitation laws to make lawsuits easier, calling it a ploy for Trump to make money for himself.

Watch the Campus Reform video above."

Still not as dumb as Trump supporters. I really liked the one that wanted to know where Obama was on 9/11 and why he wasn't in the White House that day. Of course Fox would only show the "fair and balanced" comments and opinions. Something tells me you didn't go to college.

^ I worked mostly while going to college. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science after 10 years!
(Dang, it's been almost 30 years since I graduated!) fog

I delivered pizza, drove a bus, tuned microwave antenna feeds and waveguide, inspected various parts of microwave antenna manufacturing, got on with IBM through work/study as an APL programmer...

But I managed to get through.

Herfing

The gist of the OP was that they have no idea what's going on. They are just taught to hate Trump.

We need to destroy the cultural elitism that is being fostered in our modern universities. It's getting as out of hand as the aristocracy in Europe.

Helpful hint #227:

If a person has a desire to appear pretentious, it is very helpful if said individual is not so obviously the least intelligent person in the room.

The reality of all of this is that anyone can cherry pick idiots out of any demographic and use them to extrapolate their behavior to a larger group. Yes there are idiots on all sides who don't represent the who demographic. fog

BigGrin

Well, --I-- didn't extrapolate anything. [Edit: Ok, well I did generalize 'college students'.]

I was just pointing out these dumb college students in question.

... and to extrapolate a little... I reckon this would apply to any college student who has no idea what's going on, but exalts Mr. Trump.

Most don't even care.

Where one goat goes they all go.

Same old song and dance.

Only good thing is. The Good ones know the importance of being accountable for there actions. They don't want to be caught on YouTube acting a fool.

But at the same time, gladly show the masses of folks who never thought that this video would make it to court. In fact would...

If you get to deep in... kinda makes your head hurt.
Which was intended.

My oldest daughter knows this all too well.
She can't even talk politics at school.

For all the people out there saying "Oh yeah, well you're just showing one side. Conservatives do it too!" I say that's entirely inaccurate when speaking about college kids.
On college campuses, almost without exception, Trump supporters are the minority.
And I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing. Campus life SHOULD be the last liberal bastion before reality sets in. Just don't pretend that there is political equality in our higher education system. Because there simply isn't.

Disclaimer:
I'm sure there are exceptions that prove the rule. Statistically insignificant facts don't hold enough juice to make my opinions less valid. So shut up.

Most 'adults' don't even care or have the desire to be informed or engaged in a true discussion of ideas that could possibly lead us out of this current destructive cycle of us and them. I've called this the "Car Syndrome". Most people just want their car to work and not to understand how it works or how to fix it if it isn't working correctly. fog

Reporters interview many people on a subject and the ones that make it to the video or paper article are usually extreme, ignorant and make for a good story.

Well... he did discover America. For the Spanish. But then they colonized everywhere BUT North America.

Then the British colonized it.

And why are we so bad for colonizing America when Spain colonized every damn country in South America, and half of the surrounding islands (Cuba, Dominican Rep, Puerto Rico) but they're cool and stuff?
