Just had my first order processed since the Great Meltdown. As I mentioned in another post, I accidentally bought a 5'er thanks to airplane turbulence. Well, what the heck, was my fault but since I had an order going already, I also bid on and won a jet-line lighter (at a very good price even including shipping btw!) to replace one I had lost.

Now the shipping on the lighter was $5.95 which is more than the shipping on just 5'er, so I should have been charged $0.50 for the 5'er shipping per the "shipping saver" program. My shipping total, however, was $6.95, so they charged me a dollar.

Not a big deal in and of itself I know, but if they are doing this to everyone, it's it adds up fast to a huge amount and something to be concerned about.

I emailed the of course, but, of course, no response yet.

Check your orders!

Even before the meltdown, they'd bend you over for that extra 50 cent by slipping the 5er into 'Samplers' and 'Free Fall'....maybe that's where yours came from?

heh.......one of the oldest cbid tricks.......sometimes 5 cigars of Brand XXX is called a 5-Pack.......sometimes it's called a "Sampler".

But I thought they quit doing that..............Think

They still charge WAAY too much for shipping, especially when compared to the other place.
