Alright, had to do the test (curiosity and stuff).
First off, just as expected, both were excellent smokes, and I probably drank a little too much in the process.
Win win right? Go SCIENCE!!!!
Anyway, both started out pretty much the same, strong peppery blasts as expected from a good broadleaf smoke.
Going into the second third though, the taa really shined. It gained a lot of character, not sure if it was do to being a taa or that it had several more years on it, but in any case, the middle of the the taa 11 was very good, no denying it.
Second third of the 7th reserva, was really good, but was no where on the level of the taa.
Going into the last third though, the 7th held strong and was better till the end where the taa started dropping off towards the end.
In any case, that second third of the taa was really good, so IMO that made it the better smoke over all, where the 7th was more a one trick pony, but it was a real good trick.
Both good smokes, glad I was able to perform this experiment, and ... I concede, the taa was better.
