What a waste of time today. Some answers would have been nice. Frustrating. Maybe tomorrow with Comey will be more interesting...

Because there's nothing to see or hear. Much ado 'bout nuthin'... and a waste of time and resources, IMO.

When they say they will not comment in a public forum, it makes me wonder. Either Trump said it or he did not. Answer the question, this isn't classified information, is it?

I don't beleive they will answer questions in a non-public, classified setting either.

And from what I am reading, Comey is going to testify that Trump asked for his loyalty. Is that odd, considering his predecessor hired Comey? I think not.

At lunch today saw a CNN headline on the TV:
Trump talks infrastructure while investigators get no reply on Russia.
(or something to that effect).

Translation:
We won't let Trump do his job until we can prove what we think we might know.

The media is a Buncha fuchtards.

Trump's team should be more than capable to do their jobs even with constant media scrutiny; but they use this as an excuse for not doing what he has promised. What a bunch of FN snowflakes. horse

True... true....

By the 100th day of Barack Obama’s first term, he had 69 positions filled and confirmed.

As of today, Trump has 25. He's made another 35 nominations; some vacancies are currently being filled by officials serving in an acting capacity.

if confirmed he'd have 9 less than Obama... that's reason to panic for sure.... Think

Your title, "Senate Intelligence Committee" really cracks me up, like cash surplus and other oxymorons.

I really have low expectations for anything good coming out of Congress or as I like to call them, the parliament of whores. The place is infected with symbiotic pests called republicans and democrats.

Fair question.

Here’s everything Donald Trump has promised to do on his first day in office (or, in a few cases, things his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, has promised Trump will do):

“Repeal every single Obama executive order.” (He has also pledged more specifically to “eliminate every unconstitutional executive order.”)
“Repeal Obamacare.” (On Trump’s campaign website, he’s less bullish, promising only to “ask Congress” on day one to repeal Obamacare immediately.)
“End the war on coal.“
“Begin swiftly removing criminal illegal immigrants from this country.” (More specifically, Trump has promised to do this in his “first hour” in office, “day one, before the wall, before anything.”)
“Begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall.”
Meet with Homeland Security officials and generals to begin securing the southern border.
“Notify all countries that refuse to take back dangerous illegal immigrants who have committed crimes in this country that they will lose access to our visa programs if they continue to do so.”
Convene his top generals and inform them they have 30 days to come up with a plan to stop ISIS.
Fix the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Call the heads of major companies who are moving operations oversea to inform them that they’ll face 35 percent tariffs.
“Contact countries and say…’Folks, we love protecting you, we want to continue to protect you but you’re not living up to the bargain’…They’re not paying what they’re supposed to be paying—which is very little, by the way.”
“Defend the unborn.”
“Withdraw from TPP.“
“Start taking care of our…military.”
Suspend Syrian refugee resettlement.
“Notify our NAFTA partners of my intention to renegotiate the deal.”
“Designate China as a currency manipulator.”
“Direct every agency in government to begin identifying all wasteful job-killing regulations, and they are going to be removed.“
“Get rid of gun-free zones [in] schools” and “military bases”—which would require repealing a 25-year-old federal law. (“My first day, it gets signed, okay? My first day. There’s no more gun-free zones.”)
“Ask Congress to pass ‘Kate’s Law’—named for Kate Steinle—to ensure that criminal aliens convicted of illegal reentry receive strong mandatory minimum sentences.“
Learn the difference between Hezbollah and Hamas.

I can certainly see how this would be difficult to accomplish in one day on the job specifically because the Republicans only control all three branches of the federal government and a majority of state governments.

The left is suddenly concerned with keeping campaign promises.
And in only the first 5 months.
That is pure awesome. With extra awesome sauce.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/bulletins/the-kushner-connection/

The Russian connection story took another twist Friday with a bombshell Washington Post story that Jared Kushner sought a secret communications channel with the Kremlin. In a Trump Tower meeting with the Russian ambassador in early December, Mr. Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law and a senior aide, proposed using Russian diplomatic facilities for secure communications, the Post reported. Michael Flynn—soon to be President Trump’s first national security adviser—attended the meeting.

Some might call this an overture to espionage. Need we add that if it had been government employee Jared Jones, he would have been picked up in the dead of night, stripped of his security clearance and grilled by the FBI? But this Jared, of course, is the husband of the president’s favorite child. So we sail again into uncharted waters.

I know if it were Hillary who hired her family to work in the presidents office with indeterminate titles and there were questionable relationships with Russia being investigated exactly who you would decide you believe.

Comey's a little weasel... asking a friend of his to anonymously share a memo written by comey about a meeting he had with trump? So Comey gets fired for being inept - something Hillary supporters sure believe(d) - and as a result of being fired, he gets pissed and starts airing out pages from his diary... what a b*tch...

Maybe you should reconsider where you are reading your news headlines.

Let's look at how significant it is...

Lynch steps in and tells Comey not to call it an investigation... So in the public eyes there is not investigation.. Just because Hillary said there was no investigation.. Comey's words not mine..

Trump said some stuff hinting it would be nice if the 'cloud' about Russia would go away.. no orders or direct suggestion.. pretty much the same about Flynn...

Which story is more news worthy... Think Think

Two people committed murder today! One of them was a random mugging in Oakland, the other was the president of the United States in his office!

But for the life of me I can't decide which headline should be more significant...

Most amusing... you equate lynch talking to comey about the Clinton investigation... (lynch is attorney General at the time so that would make some sense) with Trump trying to get comey to back off on is OWN investigation.
